How dangerous is it to shoot black tar? I snorted some via the metaphysicist method and it was the most agonizing experience of my life, I felt i just sprayed acid up my nose and the pain lasted literally the rest of the day. It was justly slightly under the pain level of snorting meth but it didn't go away. Does it hurt like this to shoot? and with tar being as horribly impure as it is, is it incredibly dangerous to put in your veins or can your body handle it in moderation?

Shooting tar is fine; do you think tar is the only form of H that's impure? Nah, even 'pure' china white (what I get) is cut with a bit of caffeine to help it do something or other. Just make sure to melt it down good; I never did like snorting tar personally, I've always shot it. When you melt it anyways, you'll lose some of the cut.

with no tolerance take a matchhead sized peice, put it in 20-30 units of water, cook it extensively, take the plastic end of your plunger and mix it real good with the water until there are no more pieces in the solution. cook it a little more until its a complete liquid solution. suck that up through a cotton, tie off your upper arm and bang bang bang

Less water than that. For such a small amount of dope, I'd recommend 10-15 at the most. Not that the water really matters, it still contains the same amount of dope it's just unnecessary.

i still say stay with smoking tar. look man, i shoot dope, but i doubt i'd shoot tar. unless you got a raging tolerance, and if you haven't picked up the needle yet, your only going to change the rules of the game, not the game, so why bother?

Obviously, I personally stick to the powder when I shoot (I snort and shoot, fuck smoking it). When I shoot tar, I get so insanely fucked up it's just unreal. I don't anymore, last time I did apparently my lips turned blue, I stopped breathing and my gf (was my gf) had to give me CPR n shit. 3 of the people that were there and saw me quit doing H as a result of seeing me that way; I didn't know how much stronger it was than powder.

As a previous poster mentioned, no form of heroin is going to be completely pure, unless youre getting somehting pharm grade, or fent, of course. But from my experience, and talking to a lot of people who've abused both tar and powder for long periods of time, the prevailing opinion is invariably that black tar is by far an inferior product. Here is Los Angeles, its not that bad, but then again theres really not a whole lot else available. I read a study about the communication of disease as well as other complications related to IV use of heroin, comparatively on the west ad east coasts.... the first point they made was that the prevalece of AIDS on the east coast can be largely contriuted to the kind of heroin that is available to users. Powder heroin doesnt need to be cooked and heated, so pathogens are far more likely to spread. Also, black tar tends to clog rigs more quickly than does powder, so users are less likely to clean the needle before using again or sharing. These simple acts cut the AIDs transmission rate among addicts in mre tha half.

However, black tar presents a completely different set of problems. A lot of the homeless junkis around here have large abcesses in their arms, lips, and legs- which are unsightly as well as potentially dangerous. Ive been told that black tar is a major contributor to arteriosclerosis in IV users, moreso than users of powdered heroin. When you cook a shot of tar, you can see all the things that come off it...first theres a kind of vinegar-y smell, then oftentimes there are little black chunks that dont dissolve at all, and then on top of the fix, theres a little oil slick. This leads me to believe that theres a whole lot more in this stuff than people ould like to believe. Ive heard rumors that a few dealers try to mix dirt with their tar, to make weight, and that people who didnt cook the mixture well enough, and missed a vein, came down with botulism. Of course thats only possible if one were to IM tar, as botulism cant develop in the bloodstream. However, i dont think any sane, informed user would risk IMing tar unless they couldnt hit a vein and were very, VERY desperate.

Edit: I personally wouldn't shoot tar. The only H I've seen is a light brown powder, and I barely trust shooting that stuff even though I will. I've only seen pictures of tar, and it is nasty looking stuff.

Stay away from H in my opinion. It's good for a fix if you're too broke for pills and sick, but other than that it's crap. I say it's crap because you don't know the dosage, what's in it, and if it's not some other drug. Good H is a great high, but people don't care about what's going into you. They're in it for the money.

If you do insist on shooting H please try a sample shot of your batch before you go wild on it. That way you know the strength. Remember, you can always put more into your system, but when you OD you can't take it out.
