Default Getting Xanax

Do you just go to the doctor and fake an anxiety disorder? Anyone got any tips for faking a disease to get xanax or do you all just buy it off a dealer?

I know/have know several people to fake it for scripts. Basically, read the general outline of the disorder you're after and make sure the symptoms you have don't match for another issue. That should get you into the benzos and then just fuck with his head until you get the one you want which may take several times and possibly weeks/months.

The best method i've found is to go to a government funded Mental Health Hospital. A place where you can speak to a counselor about your depression/anxiety. Make yourself an appointment in the outpatient care department and make sure you make it.

Tell the "doc" you've got racing thoughts, you have alot of trouble sleeping and throw in a nervous "tick" such as chewing on the inside of your cheek until it's raw. Tell them you have alot going on in your life and you feel burned out and depressed, over anxious and stressed. Don't forget to mention that your general moods have changed. Tell them you used to be a really laid back person but you find yourself snapping at people for no real reason and feeling generally crappy.

You may not get Xanax on your first go but then all it takes is some patience and a little well placed criticism about the meds you're currently prescribed. You'll likely get prescribed Anti-Depressants as well.

It also doesn't hurt to mention that these facilities usually have their own pharmacies that can fill Rx's for those who don't have the funds to do it themselves. You shouldn't be charged for any of their services if you can prove your pitiful income :).

Best of luck dude.

fuck you for faking a disease, but...

i promise this will work. well, i dont promise, but...

go in and say that you have like 5-8 hour periods where you feel extremely anxious. SPECIFY that it is not a panic attack, not like your scared or panicky or phobic of anything, just very nervous and jumpy and it really distracts you and makes it impossible for you to do anything but sit down and wait it out.

say it happens like once every 2-4 days, and that its not centered around anything or caused by anything. just random anxiety.

somatic symptoms - foggy headed, dry mouth, throat feels like closing, tightness in chest, heavy breathing, hearth pounding, uncomfortable lower back, week legs, tingly arms, and nausea

mental symptoms - restlessness, iritability, worry

obviously dont say all of them and dont use the ones normally associated with a panic attack (foggy head, heavy breathing, heart pounding, and, of course, panic)

say you dont wanna take a medication everyday (that covers antidepressants), and act kinda like thats PART of your anxiety, and because you dont want daily side effects.

say you want something specifically for those 5-8 hours, and that you can ALWAYS tell when its gonna happen (more of a reason for benzos).

act like 10-15 a month will be good...in the course of the next few months gradually imply that your anxiety is getting worse, and those 5-8 periods have eventually become almost your entire life, and that is greatly impacts your social/family/job life.

in the office act all jumpy and look around suspiciously kinda.

dont say anything about benzos.

^^read that like 4 times and take notes and youll probably be good. he might start you off with bullshit buspar or lyrica or something but just say it doesnt work, and hell have to give you benzos.

It's not as easy as researching a disorder and going in and telling them your symptoms and voila, xanax in your hand. Anyone who thinks that has no fucking clue what they're talking about. They give you tests that are often times pretty hard to fake. On top of the test, there are physical characteristics of the disorder. So, thinking you're going to casually stroll into a psychiatrists office, listing off some symptoms and getting a script is pretty laughable. Good luck with that, it's not necessarily difficult to do, but it requires a lot more than what has been said.

If it were as simple as what everyone here is saying, why the fuck would anyone buy them on the street at inflated prices? Because it's not that simple.

You obviously don't know as much as you think you do. I've used my method with great success multiple times as I'm sure kwerjack has as well. Also, you've obviously not attempted any of it. I've used my method in four different Outpatient mental health facilities in four different cities and have never been given a test. I talk to them, play my role and walk out with a script. If there is a test it is given without the patient in question's knowledge. If you know what your doing it is quite easy. Either you fail at convincing people or you're just blowing smoke out your ass.

Thinking your just going to casually stroll into BLTC and expect to be taken seriously is pretty laughable too.

I'm afraid it is or I actually do have anxiety issues. I was going to a psychiatrist a while back and at that time I really did enjoy fucking with everyone's head. I did what I just said and was offered a Xanax script. I turned it down because I black out on it.

Its a hundred times easier to buy xanax/ valium online. I tried for years to get benzos (and I have legit GAD) with no avail. I went through 6-7 different medications when I just settled with the occasional Buspar. With the right search, google can lead you in the right direction.

It can really depend on the doctor. I've never actually tried to fake a disorder and get prescribed something. But this one doctor I had, I complained about having restlessness in my legs and that this was affecting my sleep (was and still is), and automatically he gave me a sample of some muscle relaxors, and said that if they worked to call and he'd prescribe more for me. But there's definitely doctors out there that turn to medicine as their first option, but like everyone else is saying, you'll probably have to fuck around with some shitty stuff first.

Semi-Hijack - Getting benzos/whatever in Canada

I was about to make a thread, but decided to just post in this one instead.

Anyway recently I've been contemplating trying to get some meds for my social anxiety. By social anxiety I mean:

Inability to form thoughts and present them to other people, specifically people I don't know very well. The more people around, the worse this tends to get. When I'm alone or with one or two people I know well, this isn't a problem at all. Around a lot of people I generally end up retreating into my own head and think panicked, illogical, racing thoughts and often convince myself I have to leave.
Nervousness when I know people are behind me or at any angle where I can't see them properly including beside me.
In crowds background talking seems to all blend together into one loud noise blocking out even the words of people right beside me and which results in the same situation as #1.
When I'm talking to people I don't know well (once again, worse in groups) I often jumble up my speech, usually missing words/sentences and skipping ahead, often also talk so fast no one can understand what I'm saying

So a couple questions...doctors. My current doctor is a health freak/semi hippie who is VERY anti prescription, partly the reason I haven't done this people. Can I just go into any others doctors clinic and schedule an appointment to talk to him? What about those Walk-In Clinics?

I'm under 18, will I need parental permission and whatnot for this?

Any tips? Do you think that my genuine issues will be enough to get some meds for it, or will I have to elaborate?

Then you have a good doc. It became clear to me that my docter was not willing to prescribe any decent meds to me. Even when I ruptured a fucking testicle, she only gave me T3's. She simply would not give me any benzos for my anxiety either, even though they work best. So I turned to the internet.

God some fuckers are so stupid.

I mentioned that I got nervous/anxious at times in passing, cuz I had nothing to talk about ( I was seeing him for depression) and he threw me on Xanax like *that.* The same way he gave me Ambien when I casually said I couldn't sleep at times.. then I said the Xanax helped me sleep, and he upped it to twice a day, in the morning and night.

.25's but.. still, .5 a day isn't bad, and i didn't have to practice listing off symptoms or any of that gay shit..

Doctor Doctor Doctor

It can not be said enough.

Some doctors will put you on xanax if you tell them you cant talk to girls or you get nervous sometimes.

Others you will go to and start having full blown panic attacks right in the office and they will put you on some shitty antidepressents (Fucking cunt).

Just like some doctors will throw you oxycodone for a broken bone, while others will perscribe you fucking T'3s or 'give' you 800mg Ibuprofen's.

It's all at that there discretion

It's called Doctor shopping, people do it all the time regardless of what side of the border you reside on. It's a pretty effective way of getting a nice assortment of pills if you dont mind taking the time out to go visit all the motherfuckers.

You can go to a doctor, explain your condition, and if he doesnt give you what you want you simply go to another doctor. There is no 'permanent record' of what doctors you visited or anything of the sort. Just when you go to your new doctor, they will usually ask if you have been to somebody else in the field, just simply tell them no. Obviously you wont tell them " Yea I went to Doctor X, but he wouldnt give me so I switched doctors".

Also when you go, do not mention specific names or push on it [I]too hard. Dont just walk in there and demand a script, its not how it goes
The last thing you want is for them to write down 'drug seeking behavior' on your medical records, cause then you aint getting shit.

Edit: Just for the record I agree with Ace on this that people should not scam doctors or try to scam perscriptions for fake medical reasons. Everytime you do it your just hurting people who really need the stuff, but you just feel like a douche and want to get high. Fucks like you should be crucified. Most of the people who faked scrips that I know ended up getting addicted to the substance anyway, so dont think karma wont catch up to ya. Good fucking riddens...

Thanks for the info...but I'm not doing this for recreational (oh, can't say that 100%) but all I want is to be able to go out in groups, talk to people and so on without getting all fucked up. Not to say I won't pop a few extra for fun once and a while, but recreational use isn't my priority here. Just one more question, I'm 17, is this going to cause any obstacles?

If you have a legit problem then get a shrink, tell him your problem and follow his reccomended course of action. telling the doc symptoms you dont have or switching docs to get meds is prescription seeking and that is what causes the problem.

If you're not smart enough to scam a doctor for benzos then you're not smart enough to abuse them responsibly.

And if you disregard that because you figure benzo dependency isn't all that bad after-all: well, better you than me.

That's pretty nice of that doc. I mean, risking his ass like that; what if you were to die? He knew you were a junkie, and prone to abuse meds and still prescribed you benzos? What if you abused those and died, and he lost his medical license as a result? When someone dies as an OD of their prescription medicine, they investigate. And who prescribes benzos for someone that abuses opiates? I've tried, in fact I have bipolar and haven't gotten anything from 3 psychiatrists.

The chance of dying of overdose via respiratory depression from benzodiazepines alone is extremely slim; combining them, of course, is a different story.

When someone dies as an OD of their prescription medicine, they investigate.

The only way the doctor is going to get in shit for that is if he's writing scripts for the guy of 150 Xanax bars a month.

And who prescribes benzos for someone that abuses opiates?

A hell of a lot more doctors than you think. While I don't agree with the logic behind that route of treatment, many doctors find benzodiazepines to be very valuable in helping the recovering opiate addict deal with the resulting psychological stress of living a life without dope.

I mean golly, who prescribes Suboxone or Methadone for someone who abuses opiates?

I've tried, in fact I have bipolar and haven't gotten anything from 3 psychiatrists.

You are doing it wrong. (http://encyclopediadramatica.com/YOU_ARE_DOING_IT_WRONG) Bipolar disorder is usually a fairly effective way to score yourself a benzo script-- alongside the hefty concoction of mood stabilizers, anti-depressants, and atypical anti-psychotics, of course.

That's just not true. I've had 2 friends die of a xanax overdose, only xanax. Both of them, their hearts stopped; one of the bodies I had to walk in on myself. If it's really so rare to have your heart stop as a result of taking xanax, I must be the unluckiest mother fucker in the world. Btw they were both prescribed, one for bipolar the other for anxiety.

Yeah, the guy above you said that; I can scroll up 3 lines. I guess I am wrong, I'm just posting from experience, not what I learned from totse Roll Eyes (Sarcastic). Besides, regular MDs can't prescribe something for a psychiatric disorder (in the U.S.), so I guess technically everyone in this thread is wrong xD. You need a medical degree and a psychology degree (psychiatrist) to prescribe things for neurological disorders. Doctors can fill them but they can't prescribe. I'm sure all of you have scripts of xanaxes rolling in though, and are all speaking from experience Roll Eyes (Sarcastic).

Uh. Try going to an Outpatient facility. The counselors there refer you to an IN BUILDING D/O that prescribes you the meds suggested by the psychiatrists. You can also request other meds while you're in there which they may or may not prescribe you. They also fill the meds in their IN BUILDING Pharmacy. What a world we live in. Again. Failure. Anything else?

Yes they can. Most don't like to do it and prefer you see a psych but it's not like they're barred from it. I've had two different GPs give me psych meds for 2-4 months at a time when I was "in between" (good) psychs. Just got done getting four bottles of Adderall and four bottles of Wellbutrin off a GP from May through August.

Not to hijack the thread here or anything, but how does adderall compare to taking benzos POC? (As in terms of anxiety, social, general, etc..).

Well, for general, as in, someone who worries all the time about anything/everything, it's probably not going to go over very well; same can be said for someone who is typically high-strung or of a nervous disposition.

My entire experience in struggling with anxiety has usually been based around feelings of being overwhelmed; too much to do, not enough time, not enough money...basically just a fear of inadequacy and failure for a lot of things where really the fear is/was entirely unrealistic.

As far as social anxiety, most of mine was centered around the worries about saying something stupid, having nothing to talk about, my clothes/appearance making me look like an ass when there was nothing wrong with it, etcetera.

A lot of that tied in with depression for me, as far as the self-confidence issues went, and although the benzos helped me to worry/care less about some of those things, they often added to the depression. Shot down my motivation and drive, too, and usually wound up clouding my head so bad during the times I would take them that I was basically useless for anything beyond normal function.

When my old psych tried me on Adderall, it completely got rid of my confidence issues; I didn't get the "I am God" effect someone might from being tweaked out on a high dose, but at therapeutic levels it was more of a sense of "I can do this; it's not that difficult," rather than the whole being-overwhelmed thing. I felt much more capable to take on bigger and/or more difficult tasks because with the Adderall my mind worked better to break things down into smaller, more manageable parts rather than make me feel like I had to do everything at once and save the world at the same time if I wanted to amount to anything less than failure.

When I'm on Adderall I'm a lot less nervous in conversation; for one thing, it increases my patience ten-fold, as I previously stated. A lot of my anxiety was based on a common point for its sufferers: racing thoughts. Barnum and Bailey's Circus in my head. A thousand thoughts shooting off in every which direction at once because my brain would try to plan out a strategy for the stupidest, most mundane tasks while at the same time worrying about whether I did everything right that day and whether or not I forgot anything and what I need to do tomorrow and what order I need to plan it out in for the most efficiency.

Now reading that, it probably sounds like some office executive mapping out details for some massive multi-level managerial project; it's not. It's me having a day consisting of doing my laundry, paying a few bills, and working a five or six hour shift later on in the day. The Adderall just shuts off the rambling in my head and allows me to ground myself in the present moment, which makes having a casual conversation a lot more manageable and enjoyable because I don't get the feeling that this other person's petty talking is making me lose focus/time on figuring out this complicated mathematical equation going on in my head at the same time that I'm talking to them.

Now, this one I'm not sure of as far as a logical explanation goes, but words and fluid sentences come a lot more easily when I'm on the meds. I speak a bit quickly and muffled at times but if I'm on Adderall I seem to place better emphasis on my pronunciation and syllables and speak at a much more even rate. I also have more interest in my conversations and the people who I'm talking to.

Oddly enough I never really feel nervous on the amps; doesn't make me jittery or give me that cracked-out, edge-of-my-seat sensation like I feared they would when I started them. I do take a few supplements, though; 5-HTP and L-Tyrosine, which supposedly help to reduce some of the typical amphetamine side-effects while making the duration (and "comedown") a lot smoother.

I try not to take them everyday but even when I don't, I still notice an improvement in my psychological approach to the things that used to bother me. The racing thoughts/ mental clusterfuck is most often the biggest difference (and hindrance) between amps and no amps.

Okay, sorry, enough of this for now; could probably type half the day away discussing this shit so I'll stop while I'm (hopefully) ahead.

Hope it at least helped some, though. Keep in mind, also, someone on as high a benzo regimen as you is an extreme liability to having a very low seizure threshold when receiving even a fraction less of your usual regimen of meds, and amphetamines are a definite no-no for anyone where seizures are a reasonable risk.

That was perfect POC, exactly what I was looking for. You answered my question and gave alot of outside information that helped me understand your rationale and logic.

Just like you, I suffered heavily from that 'overwhelmed' feeling all the time. I was also OCD at the time so I would constantly be thinking " Did I lock the door when I left, Did I lock up my car, Why has that car been following me for 2 blocks, Why are there an add number of cars parked on my block, Theres no way I can get all of this done in time" etc... shit like that. My social anxiety pretty much stemmed from bad depression and a fear of pretty much everybody judging me, like if I was at a party and somebody laughed, I would always think it was directed toward me. Weird thing is most of these problems went away when I got sent upstate, but when I got back out they all came back.

And yes, I would consider my seizure threshhold pretty low. I've already had 2 seizures, both as a result of benzo withdrawal. The last one almost killed me, and my doc flat out told me that I wont survive another one. I will forever be a slave to the benzo...:o

And my last question POC, what made you and your doctor switch from a benzo regimen to adderall? Just seems like a weird change to go from a heavy downer regimen to a light stimulant dosage? Thanks man

My old psych was a very crooked doc/fucked up person who basically one day out of the blue decided I had "A.D.D." because I wasn't in college at age 19 and my eyes tended to wander around his office. To be fair to me calling him a crooked doc (which he is/was), we did try Provigil and Strattera before going on to the Adderall.

I was taking the benzos and the amps at the same time...6 mg Klonopin daily, 20 mg Adderall daily. A few months later I had a minor run in with the friendly local law enforcement and spent the next 10 months locked away in the U.S. correctional system; sans benzos and amps, of course. No, I didn't seizure, and no, I didn't die (obv).

Once I came home, decided to give up the benzo habit for good, because I know for a fact they're one of the few drugs I can't handle responsibly due to how easy they are for me to get and how much I enjoy them. Did keep up with the Adderall, though, and actually managed to get my dose doubled up within 2 visits to a G.P. who I had never met before. Go figure.

Damm POC, sounds like you've been around the block a few times. I had a crooked shrink to who pretty much got me hooked on benzos, never been the same since.

Anyway, thanks for the information and the personnal response, its appreciated man. And your right, benzos are one of the drugs you just cant keep control over. Fucking little devils.... *pops a klonopin* Mad

There's a big difference between someone who pays $10 for a couple pills for a weekend and someone who pays $5 for a bottle of a hundred. Huge doses become a lot more easy to justify when you've got enough pills on you to sedate your entire block.
