I ve been very good friends with this girl for a couple years. I started liking her a year or so back. Last week we were watchin a movie and i just went for it. I thought she was going to say no and then it'd be awkward but she just went along with it. Now we're getting into a relationship and its workin out great. Just trying to give some hope to people that dream of gettin with their good friend. Anyone else had some success like me?

Yeah man. Took me the whole damn movie to make a move tho. I just couldn't stop thinking about how awkward drivin her home would a been if she said no. Definitely worth it though. Relationships already built. Just gotta add in the sex.

Heh, this has just recently happened to me too...I'm very good friends with a girl I met in the middle of last year, pretty much liked her straight off the bat and told her about it quite early on - kept quiet about it for the most part after that save for a handful of incidents (some of which were powered by alcohol)...anyway a few weeks ago we end up having a conversation effectively along the lines of her saying she feels the same way about me. It's a grand feeling, I agree with the OP, definitely worth it!

All I can say is that depending on the girl, the friend zone barriers aren't immutable. Quite the discovery for me.

OP, that's not the friend zone. If you had made that move and been rejected, and then continued to be friends with her, then it would have been the friend zone.

i broke out of it once fell in love and realised she didnt love me. I still get depressed and its been 2 or 3 months.
