should i spring for the black vintage? i haven't ever owned docs but shoes have been getting so shitty recently that i thought i might try them out. i think the vintage is supposed to be better or something, does anybody know?
edit: by shoes i meant shoes so nobody get angry, because i have no problem with boots.

8 hole? Those are for chicks. Get 12 hole, but not 18 because you'll look like a hooker or a pro-wrestler. Don't pay that much money for those, look around at thrift stores or something of that nature.

ahhhhh! i'm lost right now. what are some good boots to buy? the 15 year old girl thing wasn't helpful but it cracked me up anyway. i'm just tired of shoes and need some cool boots so any suggestions are welcome.

Fuck
Nike bought out Docs and now they are total shit. Not worth the money.
You want a good pair of Docs? Check out your local thrift stores. I have a few vintage pairs that I payed no more then ten dollars for at most. And they are of absolutely fantastic quality.
Just please do not buy the new kind from Nike.

I got a pair kinda like DMs...Only better.
Big, thick, ass-kicking soles, steel toe caps covered in leather that polish up perfectly and you don't get any of the "wearing in" bullshit you get with most boots.
They cost me about £45-£50 in Poland a few months back.
I been wearing boots for a long time now and I know a little something about the wearing in bullshit.

Timberlands have to be THE WORST boots I've ever worn. I was given a brand new pair, and within two weeks, the upper pulled completely away from the sole.
