I've been to greek weddings, lots of spanish family parties(including quinces),even briefly to a paki wedding, black parties even, and it's all much more lively. Loud, lively, laughter, lots of dancing going on, etc.

honestly, I've witnessed all 4 at family reunions. That and the children ('chillun' pronounced by the older and/or those who still live in the US South; mainly Mississippi) walking/running around, eating, talking, playing basketball, etc. It fucking sucks, except the food. I don't like the DJ choice music (where's the fucking Techno/Trance/etc, no it's all 'Old-school' House and some R&B and some Rap) The 'chillun' run around, and that shit. People talking to each other, etc. Black family reunions can suck just as bad if you don't have similar interests....Oh, and having to get involved in picking up other peoples' garbage and shit...I HATE that. Especially when it's pulled on me with no surprise AND NOT GLOVES. Well that and there being little water to wash your hands immediately and the guys sometimes don't let you in the house (understandably; bunch of people do in and do things and when groups of people are in your house thing eventually get fucked up).
