Man I really need some help. My buddy won 2 "contestant" tickets ($125 a peice) to the 'World Stoner Games' being held in Toronto on 10/03. Apparently this is like a weed olympics. I really can't find any info on it, except a small blurb at the "High Times" site (I'll give a link at the end if I can find it again). He asked me because I'm the only person, besides himself, who has a passport (we reside in the US). Now here is the problem:

I don't really smoke weed. Sometimes when I'm drinking I'll take 1 maybe 2 hits off a doob and be good for the whole night. An entire joint lasts me about 2 months. Weed just fucks me up. I get all the negative effects, and none of the good. Anxiety and paranoia seem to be the only effects I get, so I just quit smoking. That was 10 years ago (I'm 35). Now I'm gonna be expected to smoke, more than likely, a shitload of weed. More than a lifetime to me, in a few hours.

Maybe I can handle it. Maybe I won't be able to hang.

Can any of you think of anything I can do, or take, the morning of the event to help me to NOT get so high. I know, this is counter-intuitive, but there has to be something. Remember I'm crossing the border, so I'm not gonna take anything illegal with me, and pretty sure I can't/won't get anything there.

The winning team gets an all expense paid trip to the 'Cannabis Cup' in Amsterdam. So I'd really like to man-up for my buddy and help him win this trip. But how can I go from being "bah-gong-ed" from 2 hits of regular 'ol weed to smoking an assload of what I assume to be bomb-ass shit (the weed is provided by the sponsors)?

Also, many many pics will be taken. They will be posted for all to see. Now please help me.

Oh hell, I know. I'm drinking rum and coke as I posted that (and this). Now give me some buzz-kill tips. I'm thinking:

Do what I normally do and get "FUCKED UP" the night before. Start drinking about 8 or 9pm local time. Keep drinking ALL night. When the games roll around the next morning, I'll be so fucked up that the alcohol acts as a sheild. This works for alot of drugs for me. After a certain point of drinking (12-14 hours), drugs really have no effect. Maybe make me feel more drunk. But alas, I am a professional drunk. A typical "drinking binge" usually lasts 36-72 hours and spans 1-1.5 gallons of Castillo rum. After 10-12 hours drinking I can/do/will take 100mg's morphine, 60-75mg's hydro, 2-4mg's xanax, with no tolerance. and not really increase the buzz much. I have no tolerance to any of these pills.

Maybe if I start with the drunken base, and build on it?

Not to worried about that one. I actually smoked weed for a number of years. And now I smoke the loose tobacco that you roll yourself. $1.29 a bag, and that lasts about 3-4 days. I use a roller for the cigs, but started rolling by hand again a couple of days ago - just in case.
