Using a new VISA card sent by mail
This thread is... Ask the Experts
Just wondering... if someone received a new VISA card by mail which was mis-delivered, with a "start using" date of yesterday, what would be the best use of it online without the person's IP getting traced, and how would the goods reach such a person without leaving some ugly tracking behind for the authorities to find?

Re: Using a new VISA card sent by mail
Incidentally, since the card was mis-delivered to this person's address, he/she does have the exact billing address for the card.

Too risky, unless you cover your ass and use prxys and various other ways of disguising yourself.

Re: Using a new VISA card sent by mail
What about ordering through someone else's wi-fi connection and delivering to a P.O. Box?

Re: Using a new VISA card sent by mail
You'd have to pay for the P.O box with cash. See if they'll send the package to the post office under an assumed name, then have them send it as a "gift" to another person(or a friend), and get your friend to sign for it. If they ask him, say he randomly got it as a gift, and didnt think twice of it. Good to do it near his birthday.

If you have to ask, you should NOT be doing anything of the sort.

I guess we should all just stop posting here then, and we'll do away with this pointless forum in its entirety too.
I was thinking that if someone was chatting with someone who was already in jail for life, and then they had the jail-bird order it for them to a PO Box.... hmmmmmmm... can jail-birds even make the order? Probably.

Re: Using a new VISA card sent by mail
The scammer could always AIM up a mentally unstable person at a local hospital, ask them to place the order to themselves, then visit 10 days later. Or maybe the theif could slyly use a computer at a supposed friend's place while he isn't looking, make the order, then hang out near his place every morning for 10 business days after when the delivery guy comes.
You know, for Bad Ideas specialists, you guys aren't so helpful on this as I thought you'd be. I'm VERY disappointed.
