So I gave my Dad a bong the other night because he wanted to try it for the first time. Keep in mind he has been sober for 20 years (used to be a raging alcoholic) and told me about the first time he quit drinking he had Delirium tremens (DTs). He said to me after the weed wore off that he was never trying it again because it made him trip out as though he was "flying over Venice" (vivid hallucinations) and reminded him greatly of the DTs.

Are these two (DTs and marijuana) somehow related or can one bring out the other? I was smoking the same stuff too and it just seemed like getting high as per so I was a bit let down I didn't get a wild trip or anything.

My Uncle has told me that since he had a bad trip on LSD, smoking weed gives him flashbacks of the experience.

This is when I'm pretty baked. Is that what you mean by a head game? I'm not sure if it was like this before I used psyches. I haven't used them that much.

Yeah, that's sort of what I meant. I'm naturally cursed with the obsession of dissection, so I'm always losing sight of reality when stoned. I can also force myself to regress through that one thought back to the others. Then if I'm lucky, back to my original thought and then I dissect why I had that specific train of thought versus another one. I'll go off on another one and repeat this cycle until I tire of it.

Pretty much, it's much less enjoyable for me too nowadays. I used to be able smoke however much I wanted, but now getting baked just makes me uncomfortable.

hell i get it to a bit, but i dont mind a bit of visuals... makes things a bit more interesting... as long as im only getting hppd while im high i dont mind... but twice in a row while at a certain campground in north Georgia i get crazy visuals at night...

this is exactly what happens to me. i start thinking about the strangest shit and then i start thinking about how cool it is that im able to think about it and how i should really write it down, i cant remember it anymore. :(

even if weed was the quality of our current shwag, people still got just as high... they probably just had to smoke more... smoke a tulip of shwag or mids to yourself and tell me your not fucked up...

What do you people mean when you hallucinations from weed. Ive never seen any visuals or anything like that from weed. LSD, mushrooms and Salvia theyve never made me see things that arent there either only patterns moving, things look a bit wavy and things in the room look closer or further away than they actally are.

However I have noticed if i smoke weed when im really tired and i just drift off to sleep i have some quite incredible sleeps. Really vivid and unusual dreams and that feeling when you wake up but you cant move your body at all, only your eyes and it kind of blends in with whatever your dreaming about usually a nightmare lol i lie there paranoid somethings coming at me but i cant move. Happens when ive got a bad flu or headache aswell.

I don't tend to be able to remember dreams if I go to sleep stoned or shortly after. I've kind of hallucinated with weed (I've taken no other psychedelics), once when I was very stoned and paranoid I saw someone who wasn't there, but nothing apart from that.
