Removing fat from canned salmon
Tuna is fat free but I can't figure out how they do it. Would boiling work?

Re: Removing fat from canned salmon
Fish is naturally "fat free". Fish store very little fat, and any that is in it is like omega-3 fatty acids. Not worth your effort.

But one can of salmon is 35g of fat and 7g sat fat. I usually don't eat anything past 1g fat.

Where do you get your Omega-3s? From tuna?

So theres 28g of fat unaccounted for. The human body need about 10% fat every day to keep it's self warm/fueled, and im betting most of the remaining 28g is omega-3 and 6, and a few of the others.
Dont worry, 28g of fat wont hurt you.
