dumped
Ok. So two days ago my girlfriend dumped me. I really love this girl and she says she really loves me too but that she says she just has too much going on right now. I'm not sure if I believe it but she could be telling the truth. She is in all honors classes and has kept a 4.0 gpa since the 6th grade. She's also on the varsity swim team and has two practices a day, and has soccer practice every day too.
She says she just wants to take a break and get back together later when she has all her stuff in order. We both agreed not to fool around with anyone in the meantime.
I want to believe that we're gonna get back together but I just don't know and I really don't want to lose this girl. She is perfect for me in every way and I really REALLY love her.
What should i do totse?

Re: dumped
here is my recipe for turning this into a "fuck buddy relationship":
1) distance yourself for a while.
2) make a lot of lady friends and get her jealous(but stay faithful)
3) she'll have sex with you while still being distance.
4) cheat on her with a girl who live far.
two women to have casual sex with.
steps 4 is optional .

The rest was understandable, but this is something entirely different.
You can't ask for a break AND expect the other person not to keep their options open. That's just fucking ridiculous.

Holy shit, you serious?
But yeah, you can't ask for distance and not expect the other person to fuck around, that's stupid.

Re: dumped
Has she ever said that she, "Wants to have it all!"?
It's very popular for professional women to say this & no doubt girls who emulate these women will say it too. You can't have everything. I mean: where would you put it? Sometimes you've got to make up your mind.
Say yes to one thing & let the other thing ride.

Re: dumped
Do whatever you want to do.
If you want to wait for this girl, go right ahead, if she means that much to you. On the other hand, if something comes up that grabs your dick's attention, I probably wouldn't hesitate to grab it with both hands and start ramming it full force. She can't honestly expect you to wait around and not see other people. If you get back together, sweet, but I doubt you will. She'll get used to life without you, and you'll get used to life without her.
Don't stress too much about it, your dick will always guide you in major life decisions.

Re: dumped
Besides: perhaps she's such a modern girl that she has a girl to get off with that she doesn't feel is even worth mentioning? Just "something soccer girls do" that "isn't really sex"? So why even talk about it?
Wait if you want: some say it's no use looking too hard for love? You could keep your eyes & your options open though. No?

Re: dumped
Me and my previous ex took a break a couple of times because school was getting too bad for her and she didn't like not being able to see me as much because she tried to focus on school. We ended up getting back together each time with no problems, and we never did anything with anyone else in between.
I don't see a problem with it. I never really put that much effort into school so for a while I never understood why it was important to her, but she's always kept an A average and is working towards a scholarship. As I started to get older I realized why it was important.
Just keep a little distance, give her the space she needs to catch up in school, it can be a lot of pressure when you need to commit to a relationship, and take care of your academic needs, especially if she is in clubs and groups at school.
