| Better Living Through Chemistry Discussions of any and all sorts of mind-warping chemicals, pills, booze, mind machines, trippy stuff, current street prices, importing pharmaceuticals, smart drugs, nutrients, herbs, and altered states. Please try to keep your conversations "theoretical" in nature, since this is an open conference. |

Lunacy.
Man...
I sit back in the cheap lawn chair. Around me are people. Friends. They're talking amongst themselves, creating microcosms of human society.
I lean my head back, and this no longer concerns me...
The moon is nearly full. Only a scant crescent of darkness covers her visage. I am transfixed. I find myself gasping- I had forgotten to breathe. The moon stares down at me, glowing in stolen light. We commune. The craters and peaks of the lunar surface twist and warp in my vision, crafting monochrome scenes of an old penny arcade. The clouds blow over, but they sense what is happening. They divide and disperse and sidestep the moon. The heavenly glow lends a hyperreal quality to the world around me. Towering pine trees frame the moon, and intermittent flashes turn the entire image negative. The clouds have taken on a three-dimensional quality, and I can see their details as if they were a foot in front of me.
...
I must have spent an hour looking up at that sky, my face alternating between gaping wonder and vapid bliss.
What an experience. Every saturday should be so nice.

Re: Lunacy.
I've probably spent a grand total of three weeks laying in my driveway staring up at the sky/trees.
I love living in the middle of nowhere.

Towering maple, ash, and elm trees line the city streets, dripping water mixed with the exhaust of a million running automobiles. The clouds have taken on a quilt-like quality, and I can see their details as if they were a comforter spread across the evening dusk.

Re: Lunacy.
The night sky is by far the most amazing thing we have access to on this little rock we call earth. Even more so when we are on a psychonautical journey. I always recommend examining it for at least a small time while tripping. Unlocking the mysteries above leads to amazing discoveries below. Just pondering what all is going on out there sends your mind into exploration mode and has often led to me forgetting to take a breath myself.

Pretty sure you're more of a troll than IV. He's got the nuts to bang drug combos you wouldn't even pretend to try and he makes some A+ trip reports. I'm just saying

Re: Lunacy.
It's acid. I skip a breath sometimes tripping on cid, and the adjectives really reflected a trip I endured late one night at the beach with a crescent moon and palm trees.
