in some countries 10mg codeine phosphate can be found in pills that also contain about 400 - 500 mg of acetaminophen. I understand that, HYPOTHETICALLY, a CWE would be the best method of consumption - but, regardless - for a zero tolerance situation, what would be a good dosage?

Start out at about 200mgs. Codeine's pretty weak though, so don't expect much. If you want to maximise the effect you'll get, read this thread: http://www.totse.com/community/showthread.php?t=2080412. Benzos, weed and diphenhydramine are good potentiators. You'll want to take some diph anyway because codeine makes you itch like fuck.

Ah the power of the grapefruit....

Grapefruit juice doesn't work for codeine - it inhibits the metabolization of codeine into morphine, which is what you want.

Take a small dose like 30 - 60 MG's initially simply to ensure that you are not allergic to codeine. Also, some people lack a specific liver enzyme that metabolizes it into morphine.

Odds are you will feel very little to nothing at a dose of 30 - 60 MG's even if you metabolize it very well. The point of taking this small dose is purely a safety check.

If you don't get a bad reaction and all systems are go I would just like to bring to light a couple of things.

Codeine is probably the most underrated drug on this site. It is a methylated variant of morphine and actually converts to morphine in the liver. To answer a basic question right away, eating is the best method of administration as it's Bio Availability is something like 80 % I believe which is really fucking good. The high you can get is a rather interesting experience. It is unlike any opiate I have ever done and is neat in that the onset of the drug gives a very distinct "rush". By rush I don't mean like anything compared to banging dilaudid but it is a very euphoric feeling both mentally and physically that can even rival that of oxycodone but the rush does not last more than an hour or so after which point you will be only slightly high if at all.

As for dose? I would say take 150mg's to start. That's perfect. Although scientifically you could safely take much more, codeine can give one nasty histamine reaction. For this reason I suggest no more than 150mgs for a great rushy high that is overlooked by many and appreciated by few and the least side effects.

P.S. I realize what people feel on codeine is simply the converted morphine but I find they feel nothing alike and I would take oral codeine over oral or snorted morphine any day.

Yes, but I remember reading that only 10% (more like 8% to 15%) gets converted to morphine and the rest to other stuff.
Sorry I don't have a good reference for that, only Wikipedia, but Wikipedia - "meh".
I agree with you though, codeine is nice for the non-tolerant person. For me it really doesn't give a high as it were, but makes me happy, content with my surroundings, and sociable. Daily aches and pains go away. Some dank about an hour after ingestion and I feel great!

but it all depends on what kind of tolerance you have to opiates.

Even when I would od 20MG Shots of dilly for a pritty decent but not overly intense high I could get a GREAT buzz on 5 - 7 T3's. It did not feel like morphine though, it's fuckin weird and to the post above me, yah, it is like 10 % or sumthing.

Maybe because ive only taken upto 150mgs and that too combined with 2500mg of acetaminophen (which i hear reduces some of the effects).
