There is NOT a big fucking difference.
Praying that WHAT YOU ARE CURRENTLY DOING OR WANT TO DO is God's will, suggests that you have some measure of faith that what you are doing is God's will.
THAT IS PRETTY FUCKING SELF EVIDENT.

Futhermore, when dealing with religious extremists, it is very important to LEAVE YOUR OWN RELIGION out of it...regardless of what your religion is...but if it in opposition of what the aforementioned extremists believe...it is just common fucking sense mandate to do so.
The only reasons I can think of to invoke your own religion when dealing with extremists are:
1) You are too fucking stupid to realize basic communication 101.
2) You WISH to further antagonize them.
3) You are a religious extremist yourself.
Anyone of those (I think it is a little of all three) should completely invalidate someone as serviing in any kind of statesmen capacity in the minds of intellgent voters.
