I wear them most of the time, just because I think they look better with low top shoes. I also wear the shorter socks that just barely cover the ankle, those are comfortable depending what kind of shoe your wearing.
And if I'm wearing work boots I wear mid calf length.

This is why Totse doesn't need a fashion forum. None of you have any sense of fashion whatsoever.
No-show socks are the only socks that you should wear with shorts. Period.
Even ankle socks are too long if you're wearing shorts.
With pants, it shouldn't matter because nobody can see. But, you should still wear no-show socks because they look and feel better.

I just buy generic white sport socks for everyday wear and that's how long they are. Dress socks are the same way. The rare times I wear shorts, I don't wear socks.

When my socks are really high I think it restricts blood flow (at least to the skin) especially around the top of the sock.
Fact: Ankle socks and sometimes rolled down socks are used with shorts. Exceptions: your a retard.

When I was little I wore tube socks and would roll them down. It looked like I had ankle weights or something on. It probably looked hilarious.
Anyway, ankle socks are for people that are too afraid of what others think about how their socks look. Mine are almost above my ankle. That's the perfect height. My feet don't rub my shoes and my socks don't agitate my legs.

When someone in the pubs trousers are pulled up and reveal ankle socks I can't help but getting a small fright and thinking what a fag!
