Class III Muzzle Loader?
Are there any class III rules that apply to muzzle loading rifles/shotguns/pistols?
If it WERE possible to build a sound suppressor for a muzzle loader, what would be the legality?
Any barrel restrictions on rifles/shotguns?

Re: Class III Muzzle Loader?
The restriction is on the suppressor itself.
Whether it's for an MP5, muzzle loader, or BB gun doesn't matter.

I'm pretty sure crank operated gatling guns are completely legal, even if they do fire centerfire/rimfire ammunition.

Make an integrally suppressed muzzleloader.

Yeah, you can have a gatling gun because they don't fire more than one round per trigger-pull, which is what the ATF uses to denote a "machine-gun" . You could have a straight up gatling gun, or you could get these kits that take two 10/22's and make them into a gatling gun with a clever little trigger crank thing.

Re: Class III Muzzle Loader?
A multi- barreled muzzleloader that let loose all barrels with the same trigger would also be Class III.
I'm thinking 7 or so muskets lined up and linked at the trigger by a bar or soemthing, letting them all fire at the same time for volley fire.

Eh I'm just bored, but not bored enough to go to prison. But an integrally suppressed muzzle loader sounds like the definition of boss tycoon, I implore you to make it and post a vid of it on youtube.

Re: Class III Muzzle Loader?
hmmm, I suppose if I used metal plumbing I could make the barrel, albeit smoothbore, and I'd have to port it...
Now I have a spare nipple for percussion caps, and I guess making the mechanism isn't exactly rocket science...
I might try it .
Ideas guys?
Thanks,
Lavared
