Tell them you need cash and ask them to pull up to a convenience store or ATM in the area of where you're going. This is a normal request - cabbies get it all the time from druggies, drunks, and sex fiends. Walk towards the thing and then just keep going, book it, and it helps if you know the area a little bit to make your escape.

Listen , Just bring shopping bags , and fill them up with shit. Like really nice bags make it look like theres alot of clothes or whatever in them. Pretend your tom cruise for colletarral and telling your going to be making stops , and your leaving the bags inside. Tell him to drop you off in some kind of store with a back exit , think like a mall but dont tell him to go to an actual mall thats kind of suspicious. Fill the bags with useless shit. My mate did this once, turns out the taxi driver had left the parachute regiment a week prior to starting being a taxi driver, and it was in that first week he picked my mate up, he decided to run off but was out ran by the ex para, he then swiftly handed his arse to him on a plate, then he drove off again. My friend had to get his nose recontructed.

Just step outside the cab and run, simple as that and it will always work unless there are cops/uber athletic cab driver. Not like they
're gonna leave the cab to chase you 90% of the time
