Although I enjoy watching both, I definitely prefer King of the Hill. It's pretty hilarious, but the characters and plotlines are realistic enough that it isn't just a silly cartoon.

EDIT: We might as well throw in the other big animated shows: Futurama, South Park, and Family Guy.

Humor-wise, The Simpsons is at the bottom the list, to be honest.

King of the hill, while quite funny and another one of my favorite animated shows is a different type of humor all together.


The Simpsons has made me laugh for the past 19 years. Although it may have lost a lot of its charm in the newer seasons, its a show I would love to go on forever.

This thread is gonna be ridiculous and lets STOP THE MADNESS because King of the Hill is going to get absolutely dominated, which isn't fair to the show and makes it seem much worse than it really is. I think King of the Hill is great but I can say easily the best material of the Simpsons is better.

But
King of the Hill > The last 7-8-9 years of the Simpsons, as well as the first year or so.

What the hell do you guys love about The Simpsons? Is this nostalgia talking, because I seriously don't find the show that funny or interesting.
