OK, I don't know the OP, but this really stinks to hell. I know how funding can be to independant labs and the like. But a lab that carries a CII license? really? Instead of extrapolating back to account for the CII drugs on site, they just bulldoze the big ass locked CS vault?
Even if the fact that the 'bitals' are there because of "sloppy" logs, thats way way to much for it to be accidental. I think that much of a surplus would have long been siphoned off by the very lab personell who allowed the surplus to build in the first place. Not to mention, if it were a situation of the labfolk really not knowing what was onsite, hazmat got your back. And
they definately would not leave without recovering the CS vault.
Sorry for the rant, but these are the most basic forensic questions that would checklisted in the situation. And
EVERY CII licensed lab would be subjected to this from the DEA then the EPA when they are demolished/shut down. I have experience with at least a dozen of these situations. Also, I stayed in a Motel 6 last night.
Or, you have the fluke case where this shit happens.
