Weed and ADHD
Well anyways my brother has ADHD and it would seem that it should help because it should calm him down, but instead he gets really weird and will start making all of these noises and being really fuckin annoying, its almost as if the weed makes him twice as hyper. WTF is up?

People with ADHD don't need a downer to make them calm; they need an upper.
Ritalin and Adderall are made to do other things besides help you clean your house and lose weight, you know.

How about after you smoke your little brother out you tell him to shut the fuck up and cut the annoying little immature noises?
The weed isn't making him be a little bitch, genetics is.
Plenty of my friends have ADD and they're fine when baked, maybe a bit more entertaining, but certainly not acting a fool.

I did ritalin a few times in highschool, it was said that when 'normal' people take them they would be hyper and stuff.
Well I was never diagnosed with ADD but I was mellow as fuck!

It helps calm me down when I'm in a manic place. Doesn't do shit for focus or productivity, mind you, but some good couch weed helps keep me from bouncing all over the place and turns my flitting brain to more fanciful pursuits.

Honestly, I just couldn't think of a better word at the time. Normally don't use it.
And the OP said the kid had adHd, not simply ADD, if that matters. Honestly don't think so myself.

But I mean, according to the definition, ADHD means you're hyper (as well as distracted etc) but ADD simply means you don't focus well.
Might just be the connotations they have in my mind.

what i mean is add is no longer a recognized term in modern medicine. it simply doesnt exist except in slang. adhd predominately inattentive is the closest to coming to add, but still has hyperactive traits
