How long should i rest?
hey everyone im a beginer but my routine is as follows:
monday-upper body
tuesday-lower body
wedensday-upper body
thurdsday-lower body
friday-upper body
saturday-lower body
sunday- 1/2 lower and 1/2 upper
...i spend each day about 3 or 4 hours... mostly untill i cant possibly do another set and stop...
i have been doing this for close to 3 weeks but still see not much change and most nights i take a protein shake after working out.
is this a long enought resting period?

Uhm, maybe you should start with something simpler, and more effective?

Re: How long should i rest?
You can lift twice as much as you are now and you wont see any gains unless you have a calorie surplus. Are you eating enough to off set all of the calories you burn lifting and then some? Also I would say your lifting too long and too often, i would include 2 days of rest in your seven day schedule. Remember you grow while your recovering, not while your actually lifting. Also what are your goals? hypertrophy?

...and in another thread, he mentioned that his "lower body strength training" was a treadmill. Apparently, 4 hours of it.

i used to use the tredmill but it i got tired of it as it went for one continuous speed...
i now go down to the local football oval and sprint the goal line and jog the sideline...i can do this for an hour tops (with breaks) before i am completely worn..
i then go back home and do leg weights...

how long does your hair grow in 3 weeks?
You could take all kinds of hair growth supplements and whatnot, but growth takes time.
