This. I used to spend between £20 - £50 per day on booze (this was in the bar next to where I worked, but I couldn't get booze anywhere else.) I'd go there before work, during work on my break and after work before getting on the train. It will get expensive because you'll pay for each drink regardless because it's there.
Drinking a lot isn't fun after a while. Example:
I'd get up to go to work (shift is 12:30 - 10pm) I get up at 10am, shower etc, get to the train station to get on the 11:30am train. I get there a little early and I've got time to drink a beer on the platform and time to drink another one on the train on the way there. Get there around 11:45am and walk down to where I work. Being a supervisor I scope out the situation and then leave to go next door - to the bar at the bowling alley. There I'll have Double vodka and orange. Usually I'd limit myself to about 4 of those, then I'd go back, have some mouthwash in my locker (not to drink

) and start my shift.
I'd get an hour break so at somepoint in the afternoon (around 3ish) I'd take my break if it was quiet and go back to the bar and have a pint of beer (they last longer) then probably another 2-3 vodkas. Come to about 8pm I'd be gagging for a drink so I'd take a quick five minute break to get a can of soda from upstairs where I'd empty my 5oz hip flask of vodka into it and have that.
This was a routine. In the end I'd calculated a method for each type of shift where I'd be able to drink all day throughout it until I could get home. The 9am shifts I'd get there for 8:30am and have the hip flask and a coke from the vending machine before starting.
It's not a good thing to do. It'll mess you up.
