This happened to me when I was 18 and she was 15. We had awesome times... but I walked away because of the age difference. A mate of mine (my age) ended up hooking up with her and they dated for 3 years. It pissed me off.

To me, age difference is only a problem if the difference is more than about 5-6 years.

Until adulthood, in which case anything goes.

I hate how older guys go for younger girls. How about instead of going for a younger girl who is MENTALLY your age, just find a girl your age who...IS your fucking age. Unless you can't get any girls your age, which I'm sure is the reason you go for younger, more impressionable girls.
