Speed...we love it. It's so readily available to us. Pharmaceutical grade long-acting cocaine! Anyway, I am a recovering opiate addict and I currently take 16 mg suboxone/daily. I also take klonopine or xanax for anxiety....

Lately I've found I REALLY enjoy doing amphetamines...but I have to have benzos too. I cannot NOT NOT do uppers without benzos, I at least need some for the come down. Does anyone else feel this way?

Lately I've been starting my day with a cup of coffee, then I take an 8 mg suboxone, then I take as much adderall as I can with either .5 or 1 mg klonopine. Then I eat more suboxone, klonopine and adderall later in the afternoon, and take xanax when the days over, and I fall right asleep....God I was probably better off just using heroin!

The only problem is that the more adderall I use, the more benzos I end up using, and then when I stop binging I am a mess until I can taper down using clonazepam, and if I don't taper slow enough I start to shake and get agitated, ect....everyone knows downer w/d are horrid. Generally (without uppers) I can get through the day with just one .5 k-pin in the morning and another at night. With uppers it ends up being more like 1 mg in the morning, 1 mg in the afternoon, and 1 mg of xanax to get to bed. You could say I am a horrible pill addict. I also smoke pot and cigs all day with all this.

What I loved about opiates was that I got euphoria, energy AND relaxation, and with the suboxone, I can achieve that state. Using sub with amphetamines and benzos makes me feel SOOOO good. It's a great mix. So...does anyone else use amphetamines like adderall or dexedrine and NEED a tranquilizer to come down? Or do you use an opiate to come down? I even know people that NEVER come down! They stay up for days! What are your thoughts? How do YOU manage your amphetamine side effects?

Everyone comes down eventually. But yeah, I stay up for days and do not use pills to aid come down. Not only do I not have the money to throw away on drugs like that, but I refuse to let any drug control me, and I eat the comedown like a man.


Stop using drugs to "feel better" and use them to feel good while you can, and then suck it the fuck up and deal with it the rest of the time instead of trying to "feel better".


Not saying stop your opiate program, but for fucks sake man, kicking one addiction only to pick up another, or another TWO is the most retarded thing you can do.

A lie in, orange juice, 20 Benson & Hedges Silvers and your mum's cooking at 4pm is all you need to beat a comedown. If it is an absolute crash of a comedown, buy a bag of weed, if there's really no weed about, buy some ket - should knock you into next week. You won't even realise you have a comedown.

If he can't find weed I really doubt he can find ketamine.


And way to go reinforcing the idea of replacing one addiction with another. FAIL.

For several months on a couple of occassions i used speed all day every day and then benzo's at night just to 'sleep'.

good points were that i was very productive in my job, had a good social life, looked quite good because i had energy/motivation to workout, i kept eating/drinking water.

minuses were that i sometimes had forgot what day it was, had memory blanks lasting many hours, acted strangely sometimes, and it cost too much money.

i stopped because i ran out of cash, not because of the side effects.

had no choice but to quit cold turkey (no cash), so had w/d's from speed and benzo's at the same time, of the fun lol!!

ate like a bastard, slept like a bastard (dreams were fun lol), very moody etc, worst thing i'd say is the lack of motivation i have now without drugs.

i'd say dont take speed everyday but you wont listen.

You may have looked good in your mind but to other people saw you as a tweaked out, twitch mother fucker.
