I've been single for about 7 days now. I felt like I was in love, but I don't know what happened. We broke up because I was supposedly an asshole all the time. I didn't think I was. Yeah, sure I got pissed off at some things like her using the fact that she cant smoke in the house as an excuse to not do things, but wouldn't most people get pissed about that? I don't think I was an asshole. I stayed with her when she had 3 periods in one month because of her birth control, I stayed with her when she was stressed over her LPN finals. Everyone else thinks that I was nothing but nice to her. ANYWAY.

Everywhere I go, females are flirting with me and hitting on me. I've had two girls confirm that they want to date me. Women at work are flirting with me. I fell pretty hard from that last relationship. I put everything I was into that relationship. I loved this girl. I figure that since the reason she gave me for breaking up with me was something that most couples could work through, she must have been looking for a reason for a while to leave me.

I'm trying to pick myself up and put it all back together. I think moving on will be the biggest part of that. I'm young. I'm only 20. I've got so much ahead of me. I want to move on, and date other women. I'm just not sure when is the best time to do that. I don't want to make my ex too mad, just in case there is a chance that we could rekindle things sometime in the future. I know that may not happen, but just as a possibility. How soon would be too soon?

Anyway, it's time when you feel like you have something with someone else. Fuck your ex and how she feels because the harsh reality of it is that you were probably dropped for someone else or so she could be single and fuck anything she wants... or at least that's what happened in my case. I'd stop putting so much into one person and casually date if you can. That way you have a chance to find what you like and who would compliment you well on your journey through life.
