Anything Godzilla.
I really need to find copies of G vs Biolante, Space G, and Destroyah.

Pretty much anything Godzilla related, as already said.

Re: Kaiju Movies
The Heisei era (90's) of Kaiju movies were the best in my opinion.
The BEST Kaiju film of all time was Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris. The previous two were an awesome build up to that point of the series.
Also, anything Godzilla 1985 and forward (also Heisei Era). As mentioned, Godzilla vs. Biolante was one of the greater G-Films.
I've been a fan of Godzilla and Gamera since before I can remember. I've followed the two series throughout my life.
Godzilla is on hiatus with the last film being Final Wars (2004), a 50 year tribute to Godzilla featuring monsters and actors throughout the series. Even one of the actors from the very first Godzilla (1953 or 54, I forget) plays a role in Final Wars.
The last Gamera movie was bullshit... they went for a child-friendly direction compared to the dark and mature 90's trilogy nothing short of epic.

Re: Kaiju Movies
Of the very few that I've watched 'Destroy all Monsters' and 'Godzilla Vs. MechaGodzilla 1' are the ones I've enjoyed the most.
Ones I've been chasing down are the Daimajin flicks.
Anyone know if they're worth the effort and cost?

Re: Kaiju Movies
Final Wars was a real disappointment for me. There's just so much wrong with this movie. This is not how the Big G is supposed to go out. Makes me want to cry.
For me, G dies when G dies, in G v Destroyah.

Re: Kaiju Movies
The Host, Final Wars, and Cloverfield. The first and last choices are good but final wars seems to be a love it or hate type film, but I still recommend watching it.

Re: Kaiju Movies
Is Jet Jaguar in any other movies than Godzilla vs. Megalon? He was such a cool character, he deserved his own movie!!!! I wonder if there are toys based on him? I'd love a little remote controlled version of him, that could fly and do that funky hand motion thing he did...
