wide arm bench presses
Hey i currently workout out with my bro and a mate on a bench press.
They both lift with their arms balancing in the middle,
I however, lift wide armed, with my hands right next to the weights.
Both my mates tell me that they are working their arms more than me because i am using the muscles in my shoulders and my pecks.
I also read that doing wide armed bench presses during puberty will give me a layer fat around my upper chest, so instead of having muscly pecks, it will look like i have
"man boobs".
is this true?
EDIT: they may be called wide grip bench presses, im not sure.

o.O
?!?
The only way that lifting a weight will put fat on your body is if you then proceed to shove it down your fucking throat.

Re: wide arm bench presses
it's advised that under-16's do not use weights during exercise, but i would imagine thats mroe to do with bone development than fat.

The british government disagrees with you and enforces this rule in all UK schools.

And even in these six isolated examples, not one subsequently displayed any long-term effects that would indicate that a growth plate injury does not heal just like any other injury.

....... weight training is precisely scalable to the ability of the individual lifter. Soccer is not. We have 11 lb. bars -- or even broomsticks -- for kids to start lifting with, but a full-speed collision on the field with another 80 lb. kid is an inherently unscalable event.

False. I have the 4th-grade rugby team I coach practice on 2 year olds before working their way up to beating up big kids.
Perfectly scaleable. Unless, of course, you're the poor toddler who got sacrificed on the altar of sporting supremacy.

The British government thinks pedophilia is bad, total surveillance is good, and Saddam has nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons.
Don't you think they're the most worthless possible source to quote as an "expert?"
