I personally wanted to do the 4th one which is QT's method which seems easy because it has pictures but I have been told and read that this method is not a good one but do not have any reasons why. Maybe someone has some insight about that. Well any suggestions?

DEFAT DEFAT DEFAT

Dont be a lazy fuck, even if you are using root bark, still DEFUCKINGFAT. Much cleaner yield.
If you dont want to ingest impurities get some high grade Toluene/Xyline, and buy the NaOH and HCl online.

If you use clean solvents, you shouldn't have any residue left.

Dont use lighter fluid, and paint thinners.
