I'm having a "wtf is she thinking" moment and I could sure use some advice.

I met this great girl at a party last Saturday and we really struck it off well. We're into the same things and she's different in a good way. She was really affectionate right from the start, holding my hand and hugging me and even kissing me, all within two hours or so of meeting her.

We went back to her house and I met her friends, and we talked for a little bit, we kissed goodbye and I went home feeling great. At this point she had given me all the signals she was totally interested.

I called her the next day to do something but she was busy (i know this was true.) So, not wanting to seem desperate, I texted her a day later to see what was up. She gave me a really short answer. Same thing the next day. I sent her an email yesterday and she still hasn't responded.

Basically, I'm wondering WTF was she thinking? She's an awesome person but I just can't understand what's going through her mind. I'm not desperate about her but I'd at least like to be friends.

the fact that she was SO interested in you right off the bat speaks volumes: it means she's impulsive. obviously that will mean that she will flip-flop on her decisions and one day she'll be FOR the war and the next day she'll be like NO MORE BLOOD FOR OIL and you will just NEVER know where you stand and you'll start supporting people like Ron Paul and watching youtube videos of David Icke and start smoking meth in an attempt to ferret out the reptilians until you take a huge dose of acid and realize that it was in fact yrself all along that you were kidding

Wow... I get the impulsive part but the rest is a bit of a slippery slope.

Her friends hate you.

Some say it is not good to be too eager. To perhaps say hi the day after, but not to jump into "plans" together until a few days have passed.

Did she indulge in any intoxicants that night? Could that have in any little way have influenced her?

i actually agree with this one. she regrets what happened because she found out something about you. perhaps you made out with a girl she's friends with or, even worse, a girl she thinks is a slut.

OR she's playing hard to get, but that is unlikely if she kissed you on the first night.
