Default I'm in a bit of a quagmire about storage.

I have a bit of a situation. I need something to keep my pipe in. The pipe is about 4 inches long. It has to be small enough that I can have it on me while wearing jeans and a t-shirt without any noticeable bulges but also smell proof enough that someone wouldn't be able to smell it unless the container was open. Oh yes, it must be portable too. I used to use those padded pull-string cloth bags but the smell came through and the size was noticeable.

I'd like to know what &totse carries their pipes in while they are around and about.

Concealing glass is rather difficult. Metal [or stone] pipes tend to be flatter in profile, and withstand the rigors of travel much better. Then there are the super-compacts out there- credit card pipes, bullet keychains, the old proto/monkey pipes.... Toss those in a heavy-duty ziploc and you'll block out much of the smell. Nothing you can fit in your pocket is gonna block the really skunky stuff.

You could always try pants with big pockets, like Dickies or something.

In my experience carrying a piece around in your pocket really doesn't give off much of an odor...no ones ever said anything to my anyways, and I was carrying that thing around everywhere with me for months.
