Re: tramadol
They truly are happy pills in the way real opes aren't, though I still prefer opiates.
Be careful though, they lower your threshold for seizures at higher end recreational doses, especially if you take SSRIs (700mg +).
I find snorting doesn't really do anything for me over popping, but that's the case for most opes that I've tried too.

Re: tramadol
Yeah trams aren't bad at all. 500mg+ always gives me a good ope buzz...I could do without the Opiate Itch PLUS! that cames from them though. Also, taking all 500-700mg at once causes the back of my head to burn like hell.

Re: tramadol
^^
All i've found from google is that it's "A narcotic-like pain reliever".
I get a good buzz from it and my Ope tolerance is pretty high. 500-600 mg should give you some sort of good result.

Re: tramadol
tramadol is pretty fun, I like the high it gives even though it isn't yr traditional opiod
it's a good drug to mix along with others like booze & weed & maybe some speed (just amps not meth)

Re: tramadol
Taking 500 mg of Tramadol is a really bad idea for anyone.
It has NO relation to opiate tolerance so the whole mentality of "Well I usually shoot 80 mg of oxy" doesn't apply here.
I notice a ceiling with them-- right around 300 mg. And yes, it lasts a damn long time, and is very enjoyable IMO.
Tramadol + Soma makes for a hell of a nice body-buzz.

Re: tramadol
Jesus christ... I don't know how any of you can handle 500mgs+. I mean, I can handle about 200-300mgs before it starts making me sick as a dog. I can dose on 150mgs and be nodding pretty well. This is coming from a guy that just got horribly sick from 20mgs of hydrocodone with no tolerance yesterday... Yeah, being skinny is awesome....

Re: tramadol
I've also found that anything above 200 for me makes me really drowsy towards the end of it (5-6 hours. Usually after I've eaten something, but I dont know if that actually played a role in it). Other times it lasted the whole day.

Meaning desired effects don't get stronger after 300mg? If so I disagree. If I take 300mg I feel pretty good but there is a very noticeable difference when I up the dosage. To me the ceiling is at around 600mg. Everyone is different though.

its about the same effect but...
snorted: effects hit about 10-30 mins after and last for about 2-4 hours
swallowed: effects hit 45mins-1.5 hours later and last for 4-5 hours.
so combineing snorted and swallowed gives you a nice all day high.
and if you have a high tolerance to opiates these will still affect you because they're not an opiate they're synthetic
and they're easy to get just go to a vet and say your dog fell down the stairs but he was too big for you to carry there. tell them hes not hurt but hes in pain. if you play your cards right they'll give you 5-10 50mg tramadol

You could always just go to a people doctor and get a real amount of them. They're not scheduled (it's 100% legal to possess, just not distribute w/o license) and usually aren't the target of pill-poppers. My mom has bottles and bottles of them from her doctor for, iirc, anxiety. I wouldn't tote anxiety though, as that's more likely to get you a benzo variant than tramadol.
Tramadol is used to treat moderate and severe pain and most types of neuralgia, including trigeminal neuralgia.[citation needed] It has been suggested that tramadol could be effective for alleviating symptoms of depression and anxiety because of its action on the noradrenergic and serotonergic systems, the involvement of which appear to play a part in its ability to alleviate the perception of pain. However, health professionals have not yet endorsed its use on a large scale for disorders such as this
^^ Take that with a grain of salt ^^
That's probably your best bet though, complain of pain, like back pain, but that it's more than what tylenol would fix (imply that, dont outright say "I want stronger stuff than Tylenol"). Heck, it might even land you some opes, but remember to not specify that you want drugs, that's a major light for doctors.

Re: tramadol
Taking a moderate dose of Oxy along with some Tramadol is a great thing. Makes a small amount of Oxy last all day.

Re: tramadol
Took one today 200mg...it was amazing. I went to work and everything just flew by. My shoulder pain was very limited...it was better than the Vicodin I'm prescribed.
I know it's unscheduled, so why don't doctors prescribe this more instead of Vicodin? Cause I would rather take Tramadol since it lasts so long and doesn't make me feel like crap when it wears off and I feel it's a better pain reliever.
I want to ask my doctor if I can switch from Vicodin to Tramadol but I really don't know how to go about doing it without sounding as if I'm an addict or desperate for some.

I think most doctors would support that change, or at least discuss with you why it is or isn't a good idea. If it was the other way around it would arouse suspicion, but going from a narcotic to a non-narcotic is hardly a reason to raise a red flag, don'tcha think?

Yeah you wouldn't be seen as an addict for trying to switch from an opiate to a ... not..
Say you don't want to get addicted and you've heard from your best friend's dad, Lester that hc was addictive

Faking pain to get meds is about the lowest thing someone can do. it is because of thousands of idiots like you who go to the doctor wth "back pain" to score codeine that the legitimate pain of many posters on this board, including myself, has gone untreated.
