So basically I broke my friends 350GB external hard drive and theres no way i'm going to give it back to him with nothing on it.

I need a list of the best animes to download and put on it, I am so fucking screwed right now :(.

I'm thinking if I give it back to him with a heap of good anime's on it he won't really mind that much.

Jesus...

Akira, Anything by Miyazaki (Princess Mononoke comes to mind,) Full Metal Alchemist, Cowboy Bebop, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Lupin the Third, and FLCL. There's much more, but those are the super popular ones. Not everyone liked Samurai Champloo, for example, but there were lots of people who loved it. You should check out the Ultimate Anime Resource thread because you know what your friend likes more than us.

Legend of Galactic Heroes (~20 GB)
All the Pokemon Movies (~8 GB)
Space Battleship Yamato Seasons 1 and 2 (~8 GB?)
Macross Saga (~12 GB?)
Mobile Suit Gundam 0079(~10 GB?)
Mobile Suiy Gundam Wing (??)
Elfen Lied (??)
Interstella 5555
Voices from a Distant Star
Grave of the Fireflies
Crest and Banner of the Stars
probably the other Yamato series
Gundam Seed

Try putting Vexille on it if he is into movies.

You should let us know what kind of genres your friend is into. :p

You could try just telling him it was an honest mistake, I mean, it sucks, and I'd never lend anything to you again, but shit happens you know.
