Pothead Cigar Reviews
Green Garcia y Vega-
Real popular in Chicago, 2 for a dollar and burns slow. If you have a razor or a blunt splitter you can cut the thing and roll it as is. Some people take the outer leaf off carefully, then crack the inner leaf which breaks and rolls like a swisher. After you do that you put the outer leaf back on making sure to make a good mouthpiece.
Game Green-
Like a green vega but these are sold in an airtight ziploc package of 2. I think these are made by the same company as Garcia Vegas. Some people say these smell like cookies. These are consistently moist unlike cigars that come in cellophane. Rolls just like a vega, tastes the same too. If you can get these for the same price as 2 vegas it's well worth it.
Blunt Wraps-
These are great for inexperienced rollers but if you can roll a cigar don't get them. It's way too much paper and they can taste nasty after a while. Not having to dump out tobacco is convenient and you can even rip apart the pouch and use it as a surface for breaking up your smoking herbs.
Swisher Sweets-
Cheap, easy to split, and easy to roll. Defenitely one of my favorites. I usually get peach or regular.
White Owls (in the plastic tube)-
These are good for rolling blunts with more than a gram of herbs. Easy to roll like a blunt wrap, and the tubes are great for keeping blunts from getting broken or crushed.

Re: Pothead Cigar Reviews
How much do you averagely roll into a cigarillo? Mine is usually like .7-.8 and I usually dont roll more than 1.5 or 1.6, only if I have a lot. I like a single gram in a swisher with 2 heads on it, thats how I get high.

Re: Pothead Cigar Reviews
For swishers I would say that 1-1.5 is pretty normal and 2g's would be pushing it. Games though, you can get an 1/8 in one of those easily

Are you talking about cigars to smoke or cigars to roll weed into?
Everyone is mentioning cigars to roll weed into, but you didn't state that in original post.
If you people think that these fake ass cigars being mentioned are good to smoke, you obviously don't know what a cigar is.

Re: Pothead Cigar Reviews
hell yea grape swishers or phillys are bomb. the best blunt i ever smoked was with a grape philly and some kind of tastey fruity purple bud i got from a clinic on Haight Street. im never going to forget smokin that blunt. oh and i've used a garcia vega once. it was one of those big fat ones that comes in a glass tube. there was a bunch of people and a bunch of mids that was lying around so i put probably like 5 or 6 grams in it. definately one of the biggest blunts i've rolled. i also used a peach white owl once, was nothing special. i'll stick to grape phillys or grape swishers.

Re: Pothead Cigar Reviews
royal blunt wraps > true blunt
ive had a lot of issues using the true blunt wraps, the corners tend to dry out in the wrapper and when your unrolling it they tend to tear a bit...
but with royals i have never had one tear like that....
for small blunts ill crack open a cigarillo like a swisher...

Do they sell decent cigars at regular tobacco stores? If so what should I try out? I kinda wanna smoke a decent cigar..
The only place I can get tobacco (I'm 17, the guy is chill) is at this place called books&tobacco, and I usually see most of the things mentioned in this topic there. I do know that my friend asked if the guy had Havana Sweets (don't know the quality of these..) because they're his favorite cigar, and he took him to the back where he had cases of them. So I assume if i just ask he can point me in the right direction...just don't know what brands are good.

The good cigars are going to be in a humidor. Either a cabinet or a full walk-in rig. Any place with a humidor should also have a knowledgeable tobacconist, so tell 'em you're new and ask for a recommendation.

Speak for yourself. I'm in the Chi and everyone I know prefers Swisher.
2 for a dollar? Maybe a few years ago. Most stores I go to want a buck and up each!
Peace.

Re: Pothead Cigar Reviews
If you're rolling a blunt either twist up enough for a wrap or don't bother.
A good smoking buddy of mine would always wait until he was down to a few grams and then split it up into a ridiculous amount of cigarillos- I mean this guy would manage to twist half a gram or less into some shitty pinner blunt. Never understood that but to each their own I suppose.
I used to be quite fond of Pineapple White Owls but stopped using them after a while, for whatever reason.

I have a buddy who does pretty much the same thing. I think it has more to do with the fact that at any given time he's only got a little less then a dimebag. No more, no less, but he almost always has some.

The thing with my friend is, he refuses to ever just smoke the shit in a bowl or a joint or something; it's always gotta be a blunt, no matter what. Even when we had nice glass bowls or bubblers or bongs at our disposal, he always said how it was a "waste" to smoke like that. In his mind it worked like this; blunt burns longer, I get higher.
Personally, I don't like smoking higher-end weed out of anything else but glass. Rolling it up is just wasteful and stupid to me, unless you've got the dollars to burn and want to flaunt a quarter-ounce blunt of headies at some party or something.

Yeah, I'll probably do this. It's just, I like to seem knowledgeable about what I'm getting when I'm there, because I'm pretty sure he just makes up prices. It's some indian guy that will sell to anyone over the age of 11 I'm pretty sure, but he somehow knows the price of everything as soon as I ask for it without looking..

Re: Pothead Cigar Reviews
Of course I'll just buy a grape dutch or a garcia or whatever is available locally if I need to burn, but if I want to go out of my way to smoke real classy-like, I go for a $3-10 cigar. A real cigar, not processed tobacco paper with some equally shitty leaf-lookalike wrapped around it.

Re: Pothead Cigar Reviews
Usually the classic swisher/philly (whichever i can get in a tube usually gets my vote). But lately i've been a fan of the backwoods cigars; only thing is they're kind of a bitch to roll but i'm sure that won't be a problem after i roll them up regularly. any tips for rolling those bitches? the way i do it is i just use the whole paper, and i sort of take that little notch at the end and backroll it before rolling the rest up regular
