In a particular or nonparticular order, which you prefer.

For me, in an unparticular order, they'd be:

1. Enemy at the Gates; I love the whole "cat and mouse" feel of the movie. It's also an excellent story, a Russian peasant defeating a member of the German elite.

2. The Shawshank Redemption; my favorite prison movie by far. He got the warden good at the end.

3. Dawn of the Dead, original. My absolute favorite horror film, Romero is one of my favorite directors,

4. The Green Mile; exceptionally well done, definitely a three hour movie that doesn't leave me sleeping.

5. Saving Private Ryan; the opening twenty minutes is probably the best in film. Storyline isn't bad, either.

6. The Empire Strikes Back; probably the best of the Star Wars series.

7. Return of the Jedi; loved the space battle, drama, etc.

8. Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie; best TV show ever.

9. The original Texas Chainsaw Massacre; classic horror. Especially love the bitch getting tossed on a meat hook.

10. The Italian Job; heist movies rock, pure and simple.

What about you?

I have two categories of movies that I enjoy: artistic ones and the fun entertainment ones.

My all-time favorite is The Fall. I just saw it last week, so I guess I'll have to wait to see if it stands the test of time, but...I feel confident when I say it's the best movie I've ever seen.

The rest, in no particular order:
The Fountain (the plot isn't that engaging, and the crying is obnoxious the second time around, but the visuals and music are amazing)
Heat
Collateral
Mission Impossible 3 (has some of the best and most intense action scenes ever put on film, IMO)
Die Hard 1 and 3 ('nuff said)
Waiting (Among the funniest and most entertaining comedies in recent memory)
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (Ditto^; has some boring moments, but an entertaining plot, unique style, and the funny lines really hit hard)
28 Days Later
Dawn of the Dead (both, though the original is more watchable...has a very "familiar", almost comforting feel to it)
The Devil's Rejects

EDIT: Apocalypse Now. Can't believe I forgot that one...I love sitting up late watching that with a cigarette and mild buzz. Seen it about 5 times at least, and it still hasn't gotten old.

So many to chose from.

4) Tales From the Crypt, Demon Knight
5) Battle Royale
