Quality will vary from dealer to dealer and batch to batch so a 0.1g of powder from 1 batch might be about 10% heroin while another might be 20%.

In Canada its usually around $25 for 0.1g, and about $160-$200 a gram but prices can vary. Some fuckers charge $30 a point. Some charge $20. A point is all you really need to start with but I'd take 2 just in case you fuck something up.

Snorting is shit IMO if I were you I'd smoke it. It kicks in straight away even quicker than weed. Just eyeball a tiny bump and smoke it on some tinfoil.

Black tar isnt ideal for snorting so aim for powder. I'd start out by breaking up a bag and doing it in bumps or break it into 3 lines and do them over the coarse of 5 minutes, and wait for results

I don't know what they cut it with but its non gonna be any toxic bullshit. One batch that was going around though it tasted like absolute shit when you smoked it, it burned your nose when you snorted it and it clogged up syringes. God only knows what the hell the dealers cut it with but the stupid pricks fucked up the whole batch.

In Canada the best H seems to come from the Vietnamese, Arab or Turkish gangs. Mafia I mean not street gangs. Its the scum bags that the H goes through that cut the living fuck out of it. This Turkish guy in Canada was telling me that they smuggle it when its around 80% pure but they cut it themselves when it arrives and the dealers cut it again because people aren't used to pure heroin and when a batch of 50%+ pure shit starts going around people start ODing.

As for snorting since its your first time I'd split a 0.1g into 4 lines, snort 2 of them and wait about an hour to see how you feel. Some people can OD on just one point but other people like me have a natural tolerance and can rip through the full point and feel nothing. I didn't feel shit the first time I tried it but when I tried it a week later I felt it. I realized I was turning into a fiend after a while cuz I was doing it every weekend and I wouldn't buy points anymore I'd usually buy a half gram and it'd be gone by sunday. Thats when I stopped doing it altogether. It was good fun but its too expensive to do it casually.

I've only seen powder never tar. The only heroin tar I've seen is the shit I was smoking. H powder melts into tar when you heat it up. From what I've gathered you can tell how impure it is by observing the residue left behind after smoking it. Whatever doesn't evaporate is not heroin. In my honest opinion if your only gonna try it once you should snort a small line then take a toke. That way you'll be stoned while waiting for the line to kick in. Its a real relaxing, mellow buzz like all opiates.

BTW: I don't know what the hell vibes talking about. $10 won't get you shit in Canada unless your good friends with the dealer. My friend dealt the shit and there'd be fiends coming around wanting to buy half points for 15 but he'd turn alot of them down cuz it wasn't worth the attention they bring. You might find someone who'll sell you a half point for 15 but that mightn't do shit to you. You have the right idea spending 50. That should get you about 2 points (0.2g). Maybe even a 0.25. Since its a once off thing you might aswell get your moneys worth and get a proper buzz off it. Just don't OD ;). One thing I've noticed is you'll never feel heavily drugged and on the verge of overdosing. Supposedly it just hits you without warning. Thats why I didn't go above 0.1g when I tried it first time.

Smoking - More potent than snorting, kicks in instantly but doesn't last as long
Injecting - Kicks in instantly and more potent and longer lasting than both of the above
