DMT can be difficult to smoke, I've seen different methods- Flame applied to a test tube with a glass rod to inhale from, large metal cylinder with a tube on the top to inhale from, and a tinfoil plate at the bottom where the spice is placed, and a flame applied to the bottom. Also seen it smoked like heroin with just a tinfoil plate and inhaled.
None of these methods have proved effective really, what's the best way?

Ditch the torch. A Bic is too hot for DMT. A torch probably burns it all in the first half of the first hit. You wanna heat it slowly.

When heating a bulb with a bic the flame usually blows around too much for me, whereas a torch can be held a few inches away and still easily heat it up. Move it around while lighting and it does the trick just fine :)

I've always thought that the way I've been smoking it has been quite inefficient, there usually seems to be residue left afterwards, I always weigh it with sufficiently accurate scales and some experiences seem to be a lot more intense than others, I'd assumed that it was because of the smoking method. I'll try making that DMT pipe though, looks interesting.

Yeah, I'd say it'd work just fine like that, but you can set a candle on a table, tie the pipe to the ceiling and you don't need a sitter. :) I'd also be worried about getting it a little too close and cracking the pipe.

No. It's necessarily mind expanding and ego shattering. Not everyone does psychoactives just to see the pretty colors. You'll learn alot more about yourself and the cosmos around you with DMT and other natural psychonautical broccoli than (most) ever will with LSD.

I know i've heard the same thing but i've had stronger experiences smoking it with weed in a really resined pipe rather than smoking it in an oil pipe, it's a lot easier to hold more smoke in your lungs faster.

yeah perhaps this is the best method for you. everyone has thier favorite ways of doing things. i think one reason it is easier to do it your way is because mixing it with weed may make the smoke much less harsh and flavors the burning plastic taste of dmt with the sweet, sweet aroma of Mary Jane. therefore allowing you to hold in the smoke longer. however, i believe it requires more dmt product and leaves more residue behind. of course ive never actually mixed it with weed.
