Hey guys,

Let's say, hypothetically o'course, that I was putting DOC on blotters (and not tell people it's LSD). Here's my plan.

1 - 7.5" x 7.5" Al pan
1 - 7.5" x 7.5" blotter (900 hits)
1 - gram of DOC
1 - bottle of Everclear
1 - small fan

Steps:
1. Pour 1/4" high of Everclear in pan.
2. Add gram of DOC, stir well.
3. Lay blotter in pan.
4. Allow somewhere where a fan can blow over (not on) pan until dry.

Think this is reasonable? How long do you think it would take to dry?

Honestly I'm not entirely sure on the process, but if you plan on actually selling it as DOC (good man, btw) then why not just put it in capsules? Seems like a lot less work to me, and I think putting it on blotter might waste some product.

Someone might be able to answer your question, but I'm just curious why you don't want to put it in capsules. Is it because you don't have a mg scale?

My scale only goes to 0.00 g (tens of mg). The most reasonable thing I could do would be 5 mg per capsule, but anything lower would be too difficult to make reliably dosed. Plus, putting on blotter seems to be alot easier with more even dosing because of the dilution.

this would get laughed out of LT.

your process sounds fine, just make sure that your blotter paper is flush with the bottom of the pan otherwise you'll waste some product in liquid below the paper.

i would also use as little alcohol as possible to reduce evap time and mix the DOC into the liquor before putting it in the pan with the blotter.

You kidding me? This is the easiest chemistry you can possibly do. Dissolve in water and put on paper. Damn.

Also, OP, you're most likely going to kill someone. It's not even hard math, just division. 1000mg/x mL gives you mg/mL. Find out how much your paper will absorb(titrate), and adjust x accordingly.

Calibrate your blotter first, that's the important part. Then dont just dump it in the solution and wait for evap, lay the edge of the blotter paper into the solution, evenly, and the rest on a glass plate. Allow capillary action to do it's thing, if you calibrated it properly you ashould be left with damp paper and no liquid in the tray. Lay the plate flat and allow to evap slowly.
