 Recycling Marijuana Smoke?
I'm not quite sure how this works, but I've tried/heard some stuff and I'd like to know about it.
Sometimes when me and my girlfriend smoke, we take the hits and blow it into each others mouth to help conserve. I've felt a little something after she's taken a few hits and given them to me, but nothing major.
And a friend of mine at work told me about some frosty mug trick, where you get a really cold mug out of the freezer, and blow your hit into it, and the cold makes the smoke sink. Then someone else or yourself sucks it back up through a straw.
Whats up with this stuff? Can you really get high off a little bit of weed this way?

well i vape alot these days, which in and of itself its very efficient.
i once smoked the vapourised weed, it was quite a dirty high, if i could describe it it would be similar to dxm (you know that dirty congintive feeling).
its not very enjoyable as it makes me feel quite tired which is a problem enough as it is for me.
its good if ur rolling a spliff/blunt/joint, u just chuck a bit in with the rest, so ur conserving weed :)
but i have a tolerance and basically 1 hit from a vape of a pinch of weed and im gone.

experience says: most thc is absorbed by the lungs in just seconds but there is still some thc left in the smoke blown out - not much - but some.

Also, another thing that I thought of, there would obviously be a big difference between 'reusing smoke' and getting 'secondhand smoke', since secondhand smoke is dispersed into the environment leading to quite a low concentration of smoke,where for example if you blew it straight into someone elses mouth then it'd be a higher concentration.

Ghetto shotgunning ftw. Unless of course the person responsible for shotgunning you steals the fucking hit and all you end up getting is spent smoke...
Any who, You might be able to get away with blowing your smoke into some kind tricked out condenser, but sadly, like most forms of recycling, it will probably not be even marginally worth the investment. One or two joints worth of pot smoke a day doesn't really have that much impact on the environment either, so I don't really get what you plan to accomplish...

My point was that the source you quoted was concerned with second-hand smoke as you'd get in a car, not 'recycling marijuana smoke' as the title is, and the direct THC measurements I quoted earlier ..

Common sense.
Or you could make a devise where you blow your hits out through a tube that runs into a sealed container filled with some isopropanol and a coffee filter or cotton balls at the top to catch any remaining thc. Maybe put some sort of screen on the end of your tube you are blowing into to increase the surface area of the smoke as it enters the isopropanol. Maybe put some valves on it so you could create a negative air pressure inside the container so it isn't so much work blowing your hits in.

i read on here some guy used to take hits on a bus coming back from his work. Hit had a strong and thick plastic bag, and he put a valve on it. And hed smoke on the back of the bus and blow into this bag. And the valve or whatever kept it in. You could probably inhale that smoke later off the bus.
