For kicks, I did a cold water extraction on some paracetamol 500mg/ codeine 5mg tablets I took 80mg codeine, maybe less if some was lost in the extraction and I felt nothing.

I bump up to about 180 mg and still nothing.

Next day I try around 200mg potentiated with 120mg Oxepam and got nothing, except the usual effects of benzo's.

I figure either I fucked up the extraction, which I doubt, or maybe I took it wrong.

I took it on an empty stomach; I'm only 178cm and 65 kg, and no opiates within the last 3 or 4 months.

Would there be any point in trying again, or just not bother?

Some people don't have the necessary enzymes in their liver (I think it was liver...) to process opiates, and thus don't get high. You might just be one of the unlucky ones

ive never done benzos or codeine combined with anything and i had the same experience as you. i started with the same low dose (8mg codeine X 10) but tried much higher doses (up to 40 pills or 320mg). no effects.

apparently like 10% of people are immune to it thought. i dont remember where i heard this. anyone else know?

Take 400mgs; I've read somewhere that that's the max dose that can be metabolised at once. Use potentiators (take the oxazepam again, but also check out http://www.totse.com/community/showthread.php?t=2080412 and make sure you check what can be used to potentiate codeine cos it's different to other opiates). If you still don't feel anything from 400mgs+potentiators, you may be immune to it like the guy above said.

codeine is FanFuckigTastic. You just probably don't metabolize it well. Even when I could shoot over 20 mgs of hydromorphone 6 - 8 T3's would give me a distinctively unique rushy euphoria followed by hrs of calm.

Don't really do to much as it has some of the worst histamine reactions around. You just probably don't metabolize it well but really codeine is better than even oral or nasal morphine and compliments life rather nicely I find.

Very, Very piss weak. I have taken Tramadol now and again, which is supposed to be light and was almost nodding on that, and thats about it. Like I said I havn't had anything for months and I would have figured someone with my light build would be in a coma from the 200mg codiene and 120 oxepam. It would suck if I'm immune because codeine is cheap and OCT if you are willing to cold water extract.

Pfft, I guess I'll suck it up and focus on scoring some real drugs or something.

Your dose is too low. From what I understand you lose about 10% of the codeine with a CWE. If you lucky you really only took about 180 mg. Next time try it with 450 mg. The only time I took codeine was straight codeine pills, I took 360 mg and got a pretty good buzz.

Edit: What product are you doing the CWE from?

600mgs is the ceiling i think? try a more potent opiate first. you're not allergic to them i don't think [which is what that enzyme thinger is basically]...

wait a couple days let all residual tolerance die down and hit 300mgs, if still nothing, codeine is just not for you..

an OD from just codeine would be reasonabley hard for any moderately sized, moderately healthy adult. or one that resulted in death, rather than passing out while praying to the porcelain goddess...

Alright I'll try a higher dose. I was extracting from both panadeine (stronger pain killer, but still OTC) and flu tablets.

Just a thought? I was doing a lot of benzo's for a full week, and tried the codeine in the middle of the binge, would that have been a factor?


Oh, and the CWE method I used, in case that’s where I fucked up, was to grind the suckers up, dissolved in a cup of water, 10-15 min in freezer then strained through a dress shirt.

This. Another time I got really fucked up on codeine I downed about 20t3's then 2 hours later smoked some dank and i was fuuuuuked

Hey, if I had easy acess to stronger stuff I wouldn't bother fucking around with codeine at all, but eating the tabs would probably kill my liver seeing the codeine to paracetemol ratio. I'm going to try to extract 400mg tommorow and if that doesn't work then fuck it, I'll just stay sober for another week.

ARGH, 400 mg did virtually nothing! A very slight buzz and feeling sick all day, albeit slightly more mellow than usual.

Thanks for the help, but its a terrible drug! Im going to get high of life from now on, or until I get a heroin connection!
