Downgrade in health after LSD?
I took some acid last summer and ever since that it seems that i have some type of nerve damage. Making it very difficult to talk on my feet. They feel very sensitive like the bones are touching the bare floor. I have also noticed i wake up with a dry mouth every morning and the morning after drinking i feel very fatigue and my muscles in my entire body hurt.
I have been to the doctor and diabetes was ruled out. They also said my kidneys were good.
Any ideas on what this could be?

So, you're talking 12 months plus? What you described has been ongoing since '07?

Re: Downgrade in health after LSD?
More than likely your problem wasn't caused by the LSD but you want to think it was since you can't find the real reasoning of what is causing your problems.

Re: Downgrade in health after LSD?
I've stuck with MG seeds of recent, but I seem to recall a similar weird twitchy rawness to my nerves. All over but mainly in my back & lower legs. I ascribed it to the ergotine compounds to a great degree.
I've also got some body/muscle misalignment/long-term cramping. I really notice it when I'm high, but try to ignore it when I'm in the mundane world. As being high often allows you to view your life more clearly. I've seen that my messed up body messes up my mind. The urge to get more (what yoga is all about) aligned vs the not getting that way is (I think) definitely a battle that can leave you sore after a high.
Sometimes a kewl kid's hip grin only gets one so far in the real world? As much as it's supposed to be near invincible...
I never had any such sensations for more than weeks/month.
Perhaps you want a magic bullet? Dream on! Do you have any grip on what nutrients science says a human body needs? What kind of things a body should eat?

Re: Downgrade in health after LSD?
I think It's all in your head.
Get a different doctor if need be, but don't tell him about the suicidal thoughts.
That's fucked up, how you've led yourself to this point.
Anyway, listen to moonmeister, the man knows his shit.
EDIT: By the way, moonmeister I'm a huge fan, dude. You're one of the greatest people to grace BLTC with your presence in a long time. I'm glad you're still alive and posting, right on bro!

Re: Downgrade in health after LSD?
I haven't done as much acid as some members of this bored but I have done enough to know your fucking retarded for making the LSD the scapegoat in this situation. You might be slightly mentally different for better or worse after an LSD experience but your definetly not going to be in physical pain.
Have you been to an osteologist?

Re: Downgrade in health after LSD?
Sounds horrible i couldnt imagine the acid causing this though maybe take some more and you'll come right. Go see another doctor did ya tell the last one you think it coud be caused by some LSD you took?.

Re: Downgrade in health after LSD?
Well, LSD and DO* are vasoconstrictors, especially the DO*s, you may have done damage if it was a potent dose.

SAME. Good God. Great. I have knee (worst), shoulder and (mild) back pain. It's always kind of in the bank of my mind. Whenever I'm on acid or shrooms, I can feel it more. It doesn't hurt more, but I think that it just makes more nerves in the areas sensitive to it, more likely nerve endings in my brain are more receptive to it. Either way, it's like a more detailed feel of what's wrong, not necessarily worse.
Sharper vision, kind of.

Re: Downgrade in health after LSD?
Don't fergit, don't never fergit: we all have to live a life of lies & broken dreams to get by. You can't have it "all". It can hurt if the compromises you've made/make are thrown in your face & they gall you too badly.
The closer you are to who you want to be/picture yourself as: the easier life is to swallow.

Re: Downgrade in health after LSD?
I highly doubt acid from a year ago is affecting you. You might have a disease and your blaming acid for it because there is no other answer. I dont really know what to tell you, just get more tests done. Webmd.com <---- put in ur symptoms and find out common diseases
Smoke pot, that might settle things down, or do acid again? Put it this way, if I took enough acid so that i thought I was a tomato Id take it again and try to imagine im a human

Since Autumn '06 I've been having problems with my throat to where I always have excessive mucus primarily in my throat. Because of this, I have to continually hack up all the time. This condition worsens when I smoke.. sometimes it gets so bad that because of the mucus clogging up my throat it makes it hard to swallow; I've even choked a few times just by drinking a beverage/trying to take a pill.
I went to the doctor not too long ago to find out what the deal is, and she thinks its just allergies. Well I don't believe its allergies because I've never had any type of allergy my whole life and the allergy medications out there do not relieve this condition. I really don't have a clue on how this came about, but I remember around the time this started coming about, I was snorting pills w/acetaminophen all the time (ignorance/stupidity on my part) before it came to light... thinking maybe I did some damage to my nasal lining or some shit. I don't know,
Anyway, what I'm trying to get to is that when I take hallucinogens such as acid or mescaline, the hallucinogen sort of "brings out"/feel it more just like you said (can't describe it too well) this condition I have, and making me realize this is a problem affecting my quality of life and I should do something about it.
