I've spent the last 2 or 3 years getting drunk most nights of the week, and the last 6 months every single night. I can probably count on one had the number of nights I haven't gotten myself drunk. A few days ago, I was black-out plastered, and made the biggest mistake of my life. Now that things have gone to complete shit because of it, and I long for a drink more than ever, I've resisted.

Who else has been there? I don't know if I plan on eliminating drinking entirely, but I've laid a few ground rules for myself and I've managed to do it so far, and my two days seems like an accomplishment to me at least.

Anybody want to share some stories? Helpful tips?

well aren't you going to tell us this big mistake that you made? oh and how long has it been since your last drink?

Well, I can't drink anything alcoholic in the least bit since being diagnosed with prostatitis or it causes pretty extreme pain in my testicles.

I haven't touched it in a year, and it sucks, but if you just stay away from parties and your local alcoholic section its not so bad.

Smoke some bud too btw.
