What to do with Salmon?
So I want to start eating healthier and exercising a bit and I figured a good fish like salmon would help (I just cant stand the taste or smell of tuna).
So it's really cheap around here, probably around $10 US a kilo. What are some good ways to cook it? I don't like the oily fishy taste, so I'd like to try and mask that. Any one have any good recipes?
Also any good recipes for tinned pink salmon as that is also quite cheap?
Thanks guys.

Re: What to do with Salmon?
I prefer to sautee my salmon fillets in garlic, olive oil, and lemon, then I like to brush them with a honey mustard glaze. It's very delicious.

I like mine cooked in the oven and then served with a little mayo and chopped dill.

Re: What to do with Salmon?
Quick and easy.
Wrap it up in some tin foil with just about anything (I like olive oil, lemon, salt and pepper, nice and simple) and toss it in the oven. You'll get a nice moist piece of fish every time. Needs to be served with homemade tartar sauce, lemon, mayo and chopped dill pickle.
I used to use frozen talapia though because of cheapness.

Oooh, and for the tinned pink salmon, throw the whole can, bones and all in with some fried rice and soy. Fucking delicious. I made a thread in the winter about canned salmon because I had dozens of cans of it, lots of good ideas in there.
