leme start off by saying that im pretty noobish when it comes to shrooms. ive done research on erowid and other sites and whatnot. But no hands on experience with them.

So theres been alotta kids i know lookin to get shrooms but didnt have a connect. So i knew this guy who could get them. Figuring a good dose was 2-3.5 grams per person i got what i thot was a halfie of shrooms. Figuring i could sell them and make profit (i paid 150).

so about 2 weeks ago I got the bag and it seemed pretty heavy no big deal only better for me. I had checked on them a coulpe times they lokoed fine. i ate a small dose to test them and had some effects.

Fast forward to today. My best friend and this girl im close friends with paid for 6 grams of shrooms ($60). So i just went to weigh it out and it was 2+ ozs huh? Am i missing something here. But there is a big problem. most of the caps have liquified and theres a bunchy goo and liquid at the bottom of my bag. There were several stems that survived i gathered those (about 20 grams) to give to boy. But I need to know if theyre still ok to take. I imagine the psilocibin is still intact. Its just they are fucking disgusting, and theres a bunchy mushy caps falling apart. I didnt see any mold. Just a buncha smelly goo.

1) any idea what an appropriate dose might be (i dont know the species or anything, so dont flame me im just throwin it out there).

2) Are they safe to eat? or what could be possible side effects?

Im giving them a little more than 20 grams of stems (out of the 2+ ozs).

edit: i threw the 20 gs i was giving my friend in the freezer. And they were sitting in a box in my room. Up until the last couple days it was rainy and cool (70s) for the past couple weeks. This week it started getting hot. and it was always humid. But i kept the fan on in my room like 24/7, which keeps it cool.

They weren't properly dried! God, you probably got ripped off too, seeing that (exactly) 89% of mushroom mass is water. That would explain why they feel lighter now after a while, and why they are gross mush now.

This may sound gross but... could one trip off the liquidy goo at the bottom of the bag? I mean if u blended it with alot of shit...

Also do stem or caps have more psilocibin? or is it indifferent?

If you have a gas oven you can put them in there on about 120-140 degree for like 5 hours and they will dry up but heat can destroy psilocybin so i would just throw them in front of a fan for a while and they will dry up just fine

thanks so much. I was worried they werent edible and i was screwed. Seems like they werent dried. And when i had a small dose, they definatley didnt seem dried.

My grandmas gonna be here all next week, gonna have to wait before i have a chance to dry them. Maybe ill leave them in my car one day at school. My cars black leather heats the car up like a motherfucker, when i get in my car afterskool its unbearable.

the sun can damage the potency if you got a closet in your room and a little fan just put them on a box by the fan

what if i like just spread them out on an oven pan and put them in my hatchback. No sun will get in cuz of the hatchback.

Also what shuold i do with the liquid. Should i dump it out, or will it have psylocibin. I could make a drink or a popsicle or sometin.

You *could* just put a fan blowing on the shroom goo for ~6-10 hours to try them, although I really don't condone the ingestion of moldy shroom goo.

You got ripped off so bad, make sure any shrooms you buy are cracker dry first. Unless the dealer sells them fresh and accounts for the price/weight difference.


edit: cars on hot days get humid as fuck inside. Humidity+warmth= perfect conditions for more contamination.

I highly doubt you got "inky caps". Anyone who has grown mushrooms for any length of time knows that if not properly dried, mushrooms will decompose into nasty goop after a while. You just got ripped off.
