Linux/Windows Networking
Reason: I want to access my C-drive on my Linux.
[Before fucking up]
My network:/// had a folder called Windows Network, with NAC and MSHOME.
[After fucking up]
Now my network:/// has Windows Network (NAC and WORKGROUP), and another folder called DLINKNETWORK (my "netbois name"). Personally, I don't even know what a netbios is, or what mine is.
[What I did]
Previously, I had a smbclient and thought I didn't need anything else, but a source told me to install "samba", I did. I'm assuming I have to find the proper netbios name for this solution (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=202605) to work out...
Can anybody explain to me what happened when installing samba, and am I on the right steps to finding my C-drive on my network? Thanks.
