And that's all you'll probably find for free . . . sometimes google searches of a just the name or just the telephone number or email will yield interesting results - connections or sources of information you didnt know about like a personal website, a friend's personal website, a classified ad, etc . . .

Never tried the pay services, or known anyone who has . . . been tempted, but then that info request leaves a information trail that could be damaging if the person you get info about has a mysterious 'accident' a few days later . . .
