The sodium level, like in drinking ocean water, will dehydrate you, rather than hydrate you.
But if you filter it properly, as the astronauts do, with their 250 million dollar waste-water filter device , it becomes just water again.

Theres a few chicks out there where I'd chug a gallon of their piss just to see where it came from... but I'd never drink my own urine.

I did summon up the courage to test the taste of mine though... I just pissed on the tip of my finger in the shower and touched it to my tongue... it wasn't bad, it was kind of like bad juice.

EDIT: No, I wouldn't ever actually drink my own urine out of free-will. I would piss on myself in a heartbeat though if I was stung by a jellyfish, a cat-fish spine, or anything like that.

I never knew astronauts reused piss. And holy dam, I just remembered a dream I had not to long ago after thinking of writing my first sentence. I don't think I was in space but I was using an astronauty toilet. It was like an egg seat and it had vacuums at the top and bottom and pretty much everywhere. So I was pissing sitting down and I aimed up and it got sucked into the top vacuums. Like pretty dam powerful vacuums for it to suck piss up from half a meter away in mid air. Just sharing my random dreams.

When I was about 5 my friend showed me something really cool we would piss in a shot glass and leave it outside in the winter and it wouldent freeze and we would come back the next day and take shots of our own piss. It actually tasted really good but I only did it a few times.
