Default Decorating an apartment for acid trips

Hey Im probably moving pretty soon, Im thinking maybe nortehern washington or atoria oregon. Anyway its me and my best friend Im most likely thinking it will be a condo maybe an apartment. My plans for the next year consist of doing alot of acid and dmt. and living off bare essentials for food/ordering pizzas. Im doing the decorating for the apartment right now with my friend. And we are ordering posters off line because I plan on covering the whole place in crazy trippy posters, the way the worlds going right now I just feel like sealing myself off from reality and tripping balls for maybe a month or longer. These are the posters we have picked out so far, so if anyone veteran trippers have any suggestions to trippier shit or to take some out let me know it would be appreciated. Also I can spend up to 200

http://www.allposters.com/gallery.as...Cart_Frame.asp

Im thinking of adding some fine abstract art as well

How about a window, or better yet, just GO FUCKING OUTSIDE!
Tripping looses its spirituality, if you do what you are purposing.

Also remember:
If you change the inside of your living quarters "for tripping", you will end up altering and impeding your consciousness for further progression. Inbeading yourself in such a physical state, via the non chemical means, is something i strongly advise against.

The alteration of your direct living space, is no less an alteration of your mind. Mind "expansion", at times achieved via psychedelics, contrary to what you mind think, begins way before you actually ingest the substance and continues far after the substance passes.

In summery:
Trip outside in nature(Especially with your geographical location). Dont make your primary living space centered, inclined toward tripping via glam, fiz and pop, you are suggesting. In my recommendation; leave your space grounded, educational, and introspective.

A few natural/handmade/quality rugs are always a great addition though.

If you can get ahold of school carpet (the kind that has like individual pixels of a random color), that stuff is great. English was way more fun while tripping and looking at that stuff.

Thats pretty good advice. I might just center my living room around tripping,

So pretty much you're just going to move it from your bedroom to your living room?

Why not just his advice (which is good) exactly as he put it? That doesn't mean you can't have trippy stuff, but it also doesn't mean you should use that as your primary means of decoration. Plus after a few weeks it kind of all loses it's appeal.

You also need to respect the chemical more. To me it sounds like you just want to recluse yourself for a year and just trip constantly. You won't 'expand your mind' more by tripping as often as possible. Quality and not quantity applies. You'll especially learn that after doing dmt your first time. It's not something you want to "smoke a bunch of" over the course of a year.

Tripping a lot isn't going to help that. In fact, it could even be counter productive judging by how often it sounds like you want to trip.

Like I said, quality and not quantity.

It looks like you want to just lock yourself away and focus an entire year on acid, in which case this thread should be moved to bad ideas.

You don't know what you're getting yourself into.

could you maybe elaborate a little bit. The reason Im not concerned is because Ive never really had a bad trip, The last acid trip I had I felt like it wasn't possible it doesn't seem possible I even looked into the mirror and saw myself melting. Also Ive tripped on so much stuff and used so many different drugs. I just don't see how it could go bad at all.

Get a hookah... some of my best trips have been just me/my girl/one other close friend, a dark room, some good music... and a hookah. Amazing atmosphere... I really like to close my eyes when I trip because the closed eye visuals get rediculous as fuck, especially with good music. But when that gets old, watching the smoke can be mesmerizing.

I agree with whoever said to go outside and trip, but at the same time... a nice cozy indoor trip can be just as valuable- it is possible to have an otherworldly adventure just sitting in a chair, and the safety of knowing you arn't in the middle of the woods somewhere at night is also good.

I'm also a fan of surreal art, M.C. escher and some others whos names escape me at the moment. Buy some of the posters if you dig it, its really awesome to look at when your tripping.

I think a lot of how you decorate your space should be about what you like and your own personality though... do what makes you feel good man.

I am not being a "dick".
I think you just, really need to hear and understand this:

yes that is it. seriously
You weren't taken seriously the first time? Why?
Im just over everyone and want to work on art and stuff
You just dont want to handle the responsibilities of real life.
and just focus on myself.
Socially speaking, that would be called "selfish";).
But, we all want self satisfaction, dont we?

I seriously hate everyone
For a start: "people" don't like to be hated. If you start out with that mentality you will receive it right back.
except for my friend
It is good to have a friend, isn't it?
Ask yourself, why would people want to be friends with you.

I don't hate everyone people just really piss me off
Perhaps you piss off people yourself. You expect for a person to open up to you, and treat you well, just because? You need social-skills, friends will be made.

You sound like a child at that point when life begins to hit with a hard dose of reality.

If i didn't know better i would call you out as a troll.
Trust me, "drugs" are the last thing you need.
You are, and likely have been, substituting socialization with drugs.

Re-read, and think about what you just wrote.

I have my apartment figured out. If you want to put in effort paint your walls (mine are a dark blue) and get A LOT of posters. Also cards are trippy as hell, i have one of my walls covered in playing cards which trips the fuck outs me, plus i have heaps of posters.
Also if you have a small mat or cloth with a cool pattern on it hang it up on your wall, all you really need to do is cover your walls with whatever until there are no plain spots.

I have this great idea for when i have my own place, i buy like 6 identical clock and set them up with the time zone of each major city in the world, like New York, Tokyo, London, ect ect..

Pretty sick

Primarily:
This is not your blog, to discuss your "ambitions".

Secondarily:
"a nice furnished chill apartment" as you so imaginatively put it; is something you need to earn. You don't sound to be in a mental/financial position to chose this.

Your mind is in the clouds with "buying" crap: hookahs, sound systems, posters, "trippy shit"....
Sounds like jumbled thinking of childish |)rugz0r mentality

You are not happy, but you cant fill this void with this crap. Lava-lamps, posters, and all that crap is not going to magically solve your problems.

I really have the urge to tell you to go ferment elsewhere, i have no desire of helping you anymore.

Finally(for the process of clarification):

yeah. this.
Actually, i now think that SN was being funny in that one.

Where exactly are you moving too? I live up here in the NW, and there are tons of places to trip outside. Much better than any poster or lava lamp.

Aerogone wrote pretty much everything I was going to.

If you have to ask me to elaborate, you really don't know what you're getting yourself into.

So much stuff? What have you tripped on and how many times? Your psychedelic experience is important, but after reading how you plan on using acid, I can't help but feel like it isn't too much. Or perhaps you don't truly understand the power of psychedelics yet.

If you still go through with it, you'll understand what I mean after a sheet or a vial or however the fuck much you plan on buying.

wow dude I really don't care, at all. life isn't hitting me with a hard dose of reality. Im sure I do piss people off in fact I hope I do. your rarely meet anyone who is worth being friends with even talking to. People just want to fuck each other over

On second thought, after reading your posts and getting a general idea of what kind of person you are...
You're being given sound advice and you don't seem to want to take any of it seriously.

So go ahead. Buy lots of acid. Trip your balls off for a year. You have fun with that.

Glow sticks taped to your ceiling fan whenever you decide to trip, FTW.

But yeah, my trips always got more "insightful" when I went outside. Definitely try longboarding on cid, it's a total rush.
