So I'm trying to buy a half p of weed and I phone my guy and his fucking phone is disconected. Ok I phone around, I find someone who I've known for a few years and apparently he is in the game now. Ok great I know this guy well enough but he wants the money up front? I'm like well usually when people are buying weed if they don't have enough money their dealer fronts them and after they get the money they pay him back. No he says, he needs the money up front. I never asked for a front I explained it clearly in the second line MY post you quoted. I NEVER ASKED FOR A FRONT HE WANTS ME TO FRONT HIM THE MONEY. After I told him I wasn't going to do that he was like "Well i have most of the money if you could just give me $300, and I was like "If that's the case I'll buy a qp off you instead." If so i've never actually heard of anyone doing that. Around here it's pay or get nothing until you can pay. What would the dealer get from this deal besides possibly getting ripped off himself?

Thats how it seems to go here, of course you have to know the dealer. At least my last dealer, I always had the cash but after I blew a lot of my money on coke he would front me and I would pay him back like a week later with money I made from selling.

You've never heard of crack dealers fronting people phones, cars, or crack or coke? I dunno I guess people have more trust in Canada, I was offered a job by a crack dealer to deliver the crack to his dealers. Like if they needed a refill I would go and drop off an oz or crack and I would get 50$ per oz. He said I would make $350 a day on average, I declined though. Also when I was in jail this crack dealer said he would offer me a car and a phone to sell crack if I Wanted to work for him. I didn't want to go down that path though.

Where I live NOBODY has ever fronted anything more than an eighter. Even asking would get your ass knocked out. It has always been a golden rule in my area.

The only time you would ever get a good amount fronted is if your are selling for them.

Don't buy such a large quantity from someone you clearly don't trust. I'd front my guy money... cause i've known him long enough to know hes not going to try to pull anything.

A good dealer won't fuck over a loyal customer, build some trust with the guy... know where he lives and then there really shouldnt be a problem.
