Favorite British Comedy Series
If you like British comedy, what's your favorite series?
I definitely don't think it's for everyone (but nothing really is...you know what I mean). I just think you have to have a certain kind of sense of humor or be open to it at least.
Mine are...The Office, Absolutely Fabulous, Mr. Bean (old stuff), and there was this show with 2 guys, almost like a mild Jackass a little bit and they would try and outdo each other on lists of stuff...I'm gonna try and find the name of the show. The name of the show was their names, just can't think of it.
I'm kind of limited cause I live in the US, so it's whatever is on BBC America or if Comedy Central decides to show them.

Re: Favorite British Comedy Series
I guess you mean Sit-Coms? The Office was good, and extras wasn't bad. I like 15 Storeys High(Sean Lock), it didn't do very well ratings wise and only ran for two series, but I thought it was great. Phoenix Nights was great, especially because it was set up North. Vic and Bob did a show called Catterick a few years back witch was hilarious.
The Mighty Boosh(First series)
Peep Show
Ideal
I'm not a fan of any of that old stuff, Monty Python, Mr Bean ect, it's all shit.

Re: Favorite British Comedy Series
Monty Python's Flying Circus
Red Dwarf
Little Britain
Fawlty Towers
EDIT: I somehow forgot Blackadder and Mr Bean. Not The 9 O'Clock news has it moments too, although it's generally Atkinson's skits that I like more than anything.

Re: Favorite British Comedy Series
I used to enjoy "Are You Being Served?" but I'm not sure I could stand watching it now.
