Default Growing in the UK and Ireland

Dumb question I know. But will marijuana grow out doors in our kind of climate? Which kind of strains will grow outside with limited human interference? Or should I just go for hydro?

You need a hot humid climate, or else your gonna have to grow indoors like everyone else.

its too late to start in either place now, best time to start is around late april/early may for outside, but even then with the shitty summer we've had this year(no sun, lots of clouds) then that'll mean it wont grow to your expectations...
i'm growing some in the uk at the minute in some woods, go up for a visit every 2 weeks, planted in the floor with chicken wire around them and everything, but it hasnt been sunny lately, it was sunny at the start though so the veg was good, they grew 3 -4 feet high, but then it stopped being sunny so their not budding so well...
got about a 10 bag of bud on one so far and a bit less on another, and i got like 10 plants in total... the rest are still to show their sex
i bought seeds off a site (google "everyonedoesit") which has reviews about what people have bought, mainly on the forum though, and they have certain strains their which grow outside and some which only grow properly under lights etc. but it tells you everything about what your getting, expected time for growth, harvest size etc.
using a green house was what i wanted to do but i didnt want to spend loads of money and get people looking at me funny for walking into the woods with shit like that

as for outside over hydro, i have only grown outside, so i wouldnt know whether its any better, but people will probably say hydro cos its more consistant for light and getting water(cant risk your spot flooding) etc.
hope this was some help

That depends what kind of climate you live in. Info would be greatly appreciated.

www.Shroomery.org - Growing mushrooms.

http://www.salviaonline.co.uk/grow_cannabis.htm - link says it all.

Out of curiosity, how much would 1kg of dried mushrooms sell for? p.cubensis sort.

Yes. A friend of mine grows it outside - he's a horticulturalist and really knows his shit.
The most important thing is that you need to keep it disguised; he's very good at this since his garden contains a lot of rare and foreign plants.

His trees are getting pretty big now and he'll be harvesting them for sale to friends/family mid-October. That's the other thing, there is, obviously, a particular season for weed. Growing outside isn't like hydroponics, where you can control the climate/humidity/etc.

Sort answer yes, you can very easily grow outdoors here as long as you keep to the growing seasons which we are nearing the end of now. Sadly our poor and unpredictable weather tends to make things difficult. This year 3 weeks of rain during the final weeks of budding thoroughly fucked up my crop.

No idea. Mushrooms (some of the best in the world) grow naturally around 'ere. It's funny to see people out in the plains looking for shrooms in October.
