Gasoline seems to work pretty well. A nice "whoompf" and a big fat fireball when the bottle breaks.

Molotovs are crude anti-vehicular weapons. They don't do damage so much by burning the target (though they certainly will, against flammable things like people) but by burning up and sucking all of the oxygen out of tanks, trucks, and cars. They were singularly effective at disabling old Soviet tanks, which were poorly ventilated and did not have on-board air supplies. They simply suffocated the crew within, who couldn't breathe inside, and who couldn't exit the tank quickly enough, without getting shot by the mob outside, or both.

Why dont you just drink the alcohol and then make a real molotov?

I have always wanted to make a napalm Molotov hybrid.

You could try making it slightly sticky, but if you make it too thick, you'll have issues with the napalm not igniting.
